Brilliant location, excellent facility, let down by average service and a broken QR ordering system. On arrival, staff rushed past us without acknowledging us, even after we asked where we were meant to wait. We sat down and ordered from the QR code system (which are usually brilliant to use). Garlic bread showed 4 servings on the system, only 3 arrived on the plate (not the end of the world). We ordered our mains, which were beautifully sized and looked amazing. However, 1 meal was forgotten. We complained and were told we didn't pay for the additional meal hence it didn't arrive. We were told if we wanted an additional meal it would need to be paid for. Thankfully, we had evidence to 'prove' we ordered the missing meal from the receipt on our phone and indeed paid for it. The missed meal was finally delivered by an apologetic friendly staff member after everyone else had eaten. I had a few bites of my meal as we had plans elsewhere.
Our expectations were high looking at the grand building and buzzing atmosphere on entering. But the experience of being initially ignored on arrival then made to prove a meal was paid for due to your incompetent QR ordering system ruined the outing for me and the group I was in. Having walked in buzzing, we left deflated and embarrassed.
