Rooms were poor no glasses, cutlery, milk was off, shower leaked,

Service was horrendous, kids were yelled out continuously and sworn at by the man, he threw my daughters crocs into the bin. My children did not want to leave the room because of him.

He spoke to me in a extremely rude manner.

They need to leave

If I could go lower than 1 star I would.

I booked a room for 2 nights after a dental surgery, as a way for me to recover in piece and quiet without my toddler wanting to play, or scaring him with me being not myself.

When we showed up, not only were the host rude and judgemental (as yes I don't look great) they then informed me of the location clause that I live to close so I cannot stay because I "have a home close by"

They said they would relocate me, and told me the booking agency will call. They did call, and informed me that the hotel have told them I am on some deny list which is why I wasn't allowed to stay, this is absolutely ridiculous as I am not on any deny list, nor have I ever been. Just a way to avoid supporting the customer.

Shout out to quest (next door) who willing and happily set me up in a room, with complimentary drinks and BEAUTIFUL service.

This hotel is really dated. Did not appear to be very clean. Staff didnt seem friendly, Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I did not feel very safe in this location

A very disappointing visit to a Best Western.
It is located close enough to Ipswich where everything is a short drive away.

The rooms are appointed with the bare required essentials but they are old and not well kept.
The beds and pillows were nice and comfortable and I had no issues sleeping.
The room was "cleaned" and beds made daily.

Tv worked with the normal array of free to air channels.

Now the bad:
The room had multiple pockets of thick dust and random hair.
The aircon had mould inside it.
The sofa chair had mould under the cushion.
The desk lamps and desk chairs had dust and cacked white material on the base and legs.
The tv had 1cm if dust behind it.
The remotes looked like they hadn't been cleaned ever with visible slime which I immediately cleaned with a towel and soapy water...
As a result of the above I was too scared to use supplied cutlery or food.

The front desk gentleman was nice to deal with but the lady I found was rude and blunt.

Not a great experience and if you can go elsewhere, I would!

Booked online for a night, paid $209. When I arrived, I got told it's there policy that locals are not accepted and got advised to cancel. Go to cancel, and it says non refundable. Would not recommend to anyone.

Up in Qld for a couple days for work. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. That's all I needed. People very friendly.

Was a great place to stay, had a dip in the pool. Was quite cheap but was happy the room was clean when we got there and we went out for the day the day after we arrived and came back to the beds made and clean towels. The staff are friendly, definitely recommend if want a comfortable but cheap stay.

One Ipswich's worst places to stay. Mr and Mrs are, unfriendly, arrogant, can't be bothered attitude. First thing you see when you open the room door is cockroaches, less than basic lodging. The only positive is the young lady who does the housekeeping, friendly, courteous, respectful. This place is worth 1 out of 100

Does the Best Western brand an injury!

The owners need to start listening to some of the negative reviews in here and make a positive change. Best Western head office needs to take action to protect their brand.

This place is in a good location... but seriously needs some money spent on it to get it back to where it should be.
The rooms are old and dated.
The look & feel is not what it should be.

Had a booking through Webjet which said check in at 12 but when we arrived at the place, they had apparently no record of our booking and were extremely rude saying we had to sit down outside. We called Webjet to see what was going on after waiting an hour to be told that the motel management had cancelled our reservation due to intoxication and they didn't tell us this. Don't stay here!!

Staff are fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Stayed here for 2.5 weeks & couldn't ask for nicer people. Will definitely stay here again.

If your a light sleeper you will notice the thin walls but overall it was a great stop over. Nice and clean, well located.

Rude managers! Not interested in taking our booking because it might of been 8:30 for us to check in, due to my partner having an operation. Rudely told us to find somewhere else, no "sorry but we can't handle late check in" or anything like that just rudeness and hung up!!! There is advertised rooms available... very poor form from both male & female managers!

Sam, the hotel manager was absolutely lovely and welcoming. Hospitality is really their strong side, will make you feel comfortable around. Let me stay for longer and worked extra to make us feel as welcomed and as warm as it gets. Thank you Sam!

This place was absolutely terrible. We had cockroaches running across the floor. The bathroom door didn't close properly and dead bugs left on the floor.was quite disgusting. Had we not paid in full on arrival al we would have not stayed here. I'm sure it's mostly emgency housing . Totally ripped off with the price we paid. Stay away.

One star because no stars wasn't an option, overpriced for what it is, management is rude and abrupt, ground level floors are not wheelchair accessible/easy to access (if you can't get out of the chair freely to get it inside the room forget it), suited for boring corporate overnight stays where you aren't there for anything other then sleep. Normal room level noise is too much . And that's just the experience after visiting family who had booked in. Read the reviews people, save yourself some money and invest it somewhere else

Incredibly poor value for money. Old and dated motel with tired rooms. No extra value in it so whatever rate you're being offered it is not worth it. I'm a bad area of Ipswich too, avoid this place.

My husband originally booked in for 3 nights, but only paid for 1 as our bank was having technical problems. Nothing was definitive due to the tech problems, so hubby decided to change motels the next day as 2 of our adult children were joining him. Hubby left around 7:30ish the next morning and I spoke to him around lunchtime. I asked him if he was staying another night as the motel had charged another $209 to his card. He informed me that he had booked into a different motel and he was unaware that the previuos motel had done this. When he called the motel to ask why they charged another night, they told him that he should have given them 24hrs notice. The place was all but empty and not once was he informed that 24hrs was required so not to incur a fee.... especially the cost of a full nights stay. No offer of a credit to use at another time, which we have been offered to us in the past by other hotels/motels. An absolute rip off. They have lost our business.

Job interview as a cleaner I didn't get even after walking in the rain

Clean enough. Noisy. Male owner proceeded to lecture about where I should have parked an 11m long vehicle as I was checking out.
Funny, I parked at 8pm and no one was parked there.
He started to say 'next time' where I shut him down, laughed and said there ain't gonna be a next time, sport.

Old ratty, no restaurant open, no pool open, management not the best, one sleezey manager along with one fellow staff yelling th entire motel down, not professional at all.

Owner or receptionist very rude , for the price they charge for room not worth it , the room we booked wasn't even ready was not even half way finished arrived at around 2.00 in afternoon and they had to move us to another room which wasn't great inside at all . I think refurbishment may be needed.

In all honesty, I thank you all very much. Today, they went beyond your job descriptions with no reason besides knowing what was right 1000/1000 ??'? for costumer service!.

This was a great place to stay and manager very friendly. We loved it.

Room was clean and cosy. The reason i am writing this review is to thank the owners for couriering my Samsung Earbuds that i forgot in the room. Really appreciate it.

Way too pricey for what it is. I made a booking and told them my partner would be there at 8 and they said it was okay. I then got private parking and it's not private. When I called again they got mad and hung up! $189 for nothing really

Hotel looked nothing like the pictures online. Our room was tiny, extremely basic and tired, maybe 2.5 stars. Furious to have paid a reasonable amount for what I thought would be decent accommodation. Found someone's deodorant under the bed. Stay was strange and disappointing- never again.

Great place to stay, fast wifi, friendly and attentive staff, restaurant on-site, clean and tidy, easy parking, convenience store across the road, very short walk to constant public transport and a huge park just down the road.

Really lovely staff. Very comfy bed. Quiet room despite being on a busy road. Very clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend.

For business purposes i have stayed at this hotel for a period of 1 week. The hotel is convenient and staff is very friendly. For sure if I have to return to Ipswich I will book again...having your own transportation would be an advantage if you want to ecplore the neighbourhood.

Stayed the night for work and was quiet impressed with the service and hospitality that they offer. The room was much larger then Id expect and the room service was quicker then most. Would highly recommend

We had a happy experience staying at Best Western Ipswich. Conveniently located near the events we attended over the weekend.Staff are friendly and helpful.We had breakfast in the Restaurant, which was included in our booking ( a special).We would be happy to stay here again.
