what a fantastic day we had for my husband's birthday at Char'd.
I have eaten there many times previously, and just knew that my two new guests were going to love it. They were so impressed with everything including their meals.
I had the prawn and bug spaghetti, and I would have to say it is one of the best meals that I have ever had. In a restaurant, it was fabulous. The service there by the staff is second to none, they are so professional, well done to Management.

Great place for our family function. Restaurant was full when we arrived but we were seated straight away and given a lovely spot for our booking of 8. Staff were friendly and professional and made you feel welcome. For how busy it was, meals arrived quite quickly. Will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Only lost one star for food as the garlic prawns were not very garlicky and sauce a bit too thick. All other meals were amazing.

The Atmosphere was great and service was good but the food was a big disappointment we ordered bugs & prawn pasta very dry where was the sauce and also ribs & wings combo the texture of the meat was great but where is the flavour very bland if you don't drown it in bbq sauce, we used to be regulars quite a bit before covid now I know why we don't come here that often anymore. But as they say one persons taste differs from others so this is my two cents.

Our first and last visit was terrible! I ordered a MW ribeye and got a dried out black chunk of rubber I paid extra for vegetables but there was no extra option to have them cooked so joke is on me! Chips were over cooked and the $2 pots of gravy are not even a tablespoon. I have cooked far better meals in my own kitchen for less than a quarter of what we spent here. Be smart like Tim stay home cook your own yummy food and save your money.

I simply love this restaurant, I've been a few times already and the experience it's always lovely. The staff it's friendly, the place it's clean, the food always comes fast and it's delicious! It's a great place if you like steaks specially since they always know to cook it properly. I'm definitely coming back more times!

Staff were happy , smiling and very helpful and attentive.
The food was delicious and well presented.
It was very busy but the staff kept smiling and they were all fast workers .
The place itself has fabulous decor , love the cow hides and wooden ornaments etc so much to see and do many rooms , it was great ??'?🏻

We had a booking for 10 but turned out to be 8, we asked the waitress about the round tables she offered one of them to us, we moved and she so kindly moved everything over for us nothing was too much trouble. We loved the table as it is easy to talk in a group. The service was fantastic the food was great and the sweets were to die for. We stayed for a long time as we were all having a great time but at no time did anyone come over and asked us to leave. We would recommend the PA Ipswich to anyone wanting great food and a friendly place to relax and enjoy them selves. We would give you 5 star. *****

We had a great lunch yesterday. I especially loved our waiter. I forgot to get his name but he is here in the background in this photo. The food was lovely, the atmosphere was chill and the cocktails were delicious. We took a million photos and plastered them on our Facebooks. Thanks 😘

Food is average. Sea food platter , some items overcooked. Deap fried mars bar was not done right. Service way below par. Waited 30 minutes for drinks. When I enquired I was told they had to go get ingredients... The feeling of just pushing customers through is what comes to mind. Very impersonal venue. Don't think I will be visiting again

We had a group of 11 for Father's Day lunch, and were really pleased with the location of our table, as it felt very private. Food was fantastic, along with great service. We will definitely return!

I have been going regularly on Sunday for dinner and order the same each time ,this time my prawn noodle was terrible to eat it was claggy and barely any sauce and cold in spots was not fresh at all not like I have had in the past. The other meal ordered was the fish and it came out so dark brown almost burnt.after telling one of the staff all I got was I will let the chef know that's not good enough .this is so out of the ordinary for this hotel usually it is pretty good hence why I kept coming back ,but after that I will have to rethink my return ???-.

Lovely atmosphere. Great wine. Disappointed in the meal I chose. Asain Salad, no coriander and beef was cooked to tough. Flavour was nice. Pricing was really good. I would still go back.

Nice food, the pub itself is well laid out and welcoming. It has everything from sports bar to a Cafe, the service is up to you really with the QR code option.

If you're over 18 and can't figure out how to get yourself a beer/drink quickly that's your own problem and if you don't want to keep up with technology and would rather walk up and order food at the bar it really is your own fault if it takes longer..

I've read other comments where people complained about it taking a while to get served alcohol and food, I've been here while it's a full capacity and had no problem.. I guess some people are harder to please than others.

Usually wouldn't give 5 stars to a Pub, but this place is a bit more than that, and a great place to eat, drink, and catch up with friends and family or go on a date.

So nicely renovated. And price wise, well expect to spend about $25 to $30 on average per meal plus whetever you're going to drink - nothing about that is a shock in 2023. Thanks PA we always enjoy the hospitality here!

Hit and miss, once had a bone in a vegan meal, sick of the chips, they are fun at first but you should be able to order normal hot chips too.
Last visit- Feathery chicken wings. Had to ask 3 times where the desert was. Over an hoir wait and the deep fried Mars bar was cooked differently to usual and wasn't nice.

The night I was here was an event for our group the Red Hatter's. The meals were super and drinks were enjoyed too. I would definitely recommend to friends and family for next get together.
And who doesn't like a sticky date pudding!

The PA Hotel has a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Not only do they have the largest tap craft beer offering in the Southern Hemisphere, the food is excellent! We had the brisket sandwich (a new twist on the steak sandwich), prawn roll and a beef burger for lunch. The hotel has modern decor and would make a great spot for a family dinner or date night! The brisket sandwich is one we'll be going back for, that and the Long Lunch deal which includes a drink!

Best eye fillet anywhere. Meals are fantastic. Great staff great place to eat and have beer with friends. Clean and the staff are very pleasant and helpful. Been 4 times now and next Sunday will b3 5 times with more visits to come. Keep up the good work.

Booked a work birthday party, had a great time, lovely ambience, staff were very accommodating and helpful. Food and drink were very nice as well, would recommend Chard easily to anyone. Thanks very much for a wonderful lunch!

Had a great time here for dinner. Ordered the Guiness pie, Track as and Ribs and wings. Meals were delicious and came out fairly quickly. The young lady that assisted everyone at the tables was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Stayed and played the pokies afterwards and even won. Great evening with the family.

First time back in at the PA Hotel in very long time. We came in for family Easter Sunday lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Great variety of meals in the menu, great atmosphere and great food, loved our meals. Service could be better as Dad's lunch (Seafood Platter for one) was last out and almost when most of us had nearly finished lunch. Despite that we enjoyed our time at the restaurant.

My last visit wasn't great. 20 min wait on drinks and much longer for food and needed to get own cutlery after it was served. I customised the vegetation pasta to be vegan. Had a bone in it that I started eating 🤢
I enjoy coming here for a drink but off the food there for now.

Our first visit to this well appointed hotel was disappointing, particularly since we were celebrating a special occasion. We ordered the seafood platter for two with an extra half lobster, expecting fresh seafood for such a price, but much of it was thawed. The seasonal spanner crab was for us inedible. The fish batter was mushy, which degraded good fish fillets like these. Busiest time of the week yet there were no mussels. We accepted the substitute oysters. The staff were pleasant and attentive, the beer nice and cold.

Delicious food! Fast, fresh and always tastes amazing. Big thanks to the chefs and our waiter today who went out of his way to help us celebrate my birthday! Will be back

Pleasant atmosphere. The lunch/dinner specials are good size, nice tasting and reasonable price. Use app to order food and food delivered to table in quick time.

Hot delicious food delivered in a timely manner. It was very obvious the food was world class. First restaurant who hasn't used preservatives in their sauces. I enjoyed an exquisite meal free from an allergic reaction. I'll definitely be back.

Good parking. Building is fairly old but well maintained. Extensive menu, good range of beers on tap. Good standard of service. Well worth a visit.

Visited for Mothers' Day lunch at Plantations. Meals were ordered using the table QR code so didn't have to wait. Drinks can be ordered the same way, but do it separately to the meal as they are still having problems with passing the order on to the bar. Enjoy.

Had lunch at Chard Dining and the food was delicious and the staff were exceptional. We had a long wait on our deserts but the waiter looking after us, made sure to get it to us quickly and was so apologetic. So great place to eat and relaxing atmosphere. Recommend.

This place is actually great there are almost 100 types of alcohol on tap at the bar. The food at the restaurant is a little pricey but it's very good. The claw machine let's your child (or you) keep playing until you win which is great. Would recommend
