One of the best Guinness pours I've outside of Ireland. Well done guys!

This is a good pub with bottle shop frequented by locals. No food at present Prices are reasonable with no surcharge for public holidays. Dog friendly in the outside area. Sports are available to watch on several screens in the bar with betting and a separate pokie room if that is your thing. There is one Pool table. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent selection of beers and wines with an on-site bottle shop. No food at present, but they do not mind if you bring your own to eat with a drink bought in the bar. The restaurant is in the process of being refurbished and should be open in the near future. Do yourself a favour and stop by for a cold one.??'?

What a fantastic place to have a sip. The food track is great, once they finish their restaurant it will be even better.

Great little spot just off hiway, great host , explained why they did not have food because of renovations so we stayed for beers, will return next time up this way

I can't rate the food as unfortunately they were doing renovations and there was none. I am so impressed by this tucked away tavern, amazing staff, manager was so friendly and sat down for a chat. Bar staff had our order down to a T after just 2 drinks. Amazing atmosphere with live music. Why go into Port Douglas when you can come here and feel like your a local . stayed across the road and went here every afternoon. So relaxed. LOVE IT. Thanks so much.

A good old fashioned pub/sports bar. Occasional live music and sport on several screens. The staff are very friendly. No food at present but it is OK to bring your own sandwiches. Best of all, it is dog friendly in the covered outdoor area.

Amazing dinner experience. Great vibe. Had the chargrilled barramundi. Delighted to have fresh pickled ginger on the salad. Husband didn't stop eating my twice fried chips off the plate. Service A1!

What fun for drinks and Kai is amazing! Service beyond belief! Food is delicious, try the octopus, mussels and seafood curry.

Me and a friend called in here to get a well earned cocktail and went with the Strawberry Daiquiri. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The service also was of a high standard, definitely a regular of mine if in the area

Chicken Schnitzel cooked to perfection, with a twist of pickled ginger in the ample salad. Plenty of chips that were crisp . Needed to take away remaining that couldn't be eaten. No wonder the prices have been raised.

A great place to sit and have a bet on a Saturday afternoon, very good atmosphere with friendly staff and fair priced drinks, unlike the courthouse and central in Port Douglas where very high prices is the go. The old saying "the more you drink the more you save", so go for it

They have recently done some renovations. This is a locals bar but they are welcoming of non locals. I had a pint of Guinness and I have to say it was very tasty

Kai is wonderful! $10 Steaks on Friday night we had a wonderful meal here on New Year's Eve! The restaurant isn't busy like so many places in town.
It is very family friendly. There were children everywhere which was lovely to see.
There were also well behaved dogs in the outside seating area.

Really great atmosphere, tucked out of the way so no external noise. Lovely staff. Fantastic range of beers and cider. They also offer a bottle shop with a generous range of beers, wine and spirits as well as common mixers!

Had seafood marinara. Very tasty, my other half had carbonara, bit salty both meal size was good. As usual satisfactory meal. Next time steak and or spare ribs. . Regular.
