Overpriced for a well aged motel that is in a great location, walking distance to beach and playground and cafe bakery, supermarket etc all around you... Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean, lovely friendly staff all round. Great meals but I don't like the add ones and paying extra..but odd first pub I have come across that gravy , garlic butter etc is an add on...has a salad/vegetable bar instead of served with actual.meal..which I'm not a fan of, yet at least you can pick n choose what you like and how much without waste....

Great food and friendly staff.
But more importantly an awesome Gluten free menu.

What a cracker of a pub came for dinner cocktails knock your socks off food is to die for got a cheesy garlic bread is to die for also the scotch fillet steak cooked to perfection salad and veg bar also great got a kids pizza for my son size definitely not a problem massive 🤣 staff very friendly what a great hidden gem we will definitely be back

Arrived at 11.30am when we were told lunch service began. We were the only people at the pub at this time.
While waiting for our orders we noticed a chef run across to Drakes for some ingredients. Didn't think much of it. 45 minutes of waiting and our first two of four meals arrived (schnitzels) Another 5 or so minutes and the next meal came (pizza). Almost an hour of waiting and I was finally served my Vegan San Choi Bow, to say disappointed is an understatement. The description says:
"Plant based meat with rice soya and pickled veg served on Cos Lettuce Cups."
What I got was the absolute bare minimum of this (and I'm fairly sure the ingredients the Chef went and collected from the Drakes). The carrot and onion were not pickled, the lettuce was brown and the plant based meat was terribly seasoned and inedible. I spent $24 on this meal and didn't touch it. If you're vegetarian or vegan I suggest you absolutely AVOID this dish!
Honestly, the pub should just remove it from the menu and put effort into a well thought out vegan/vegetarian meal instead.

Great food. Big servings. Busy night long weekend. Very accommodating. Daughter asked for a mocktail. Not on the drinks list but Lily did her best. Prepared and initially tested by staff. Manager even took a photo then Lily made ours and brought it to our table. Lily was super personable with excellent customer service. Good job!!
