Do yourself a favour and keep walking......admire the outside of the building for sure. Unsanitary conditions lurking inside. Obviously cleaning is not high on the list and considering comments have stated the same for several years, they just don\'t care. Should\'ve read reviews first ???'.... face palm.

What a shame such a beautiful pub. But has to be the worst pub I\'ve ever been to. Only 1 beer on tap which was coopers. Which was literally sour and disgusting. Not even drinkable.
Went to the toilet with not 1 light on could t even see the light switch in there.
Asked about cash out and was told they already paid someone out earlier and couldn\'t do it. Go to the bank up the road if you want cash.
My partner didn\'t even want to be in the building and left me there to finish my beers by myself..

Drove all the way for a day out to get some lunch to only be met by one of the rudest woman I have ever met, husband went to use the dirty bathroom and comes out asked if doing meal and get told \"No, what drink can I get you because we arnt a public toilet\" told her we came for a meal and she said we arnt doing meals what drink did you want!! Should have been a red flag when we seen no-one else in there or even in the pokies. Do Ardrossan a favour and just shut your doors
Such a shame this place has turned into this, used to be a great place. But now I see why it\'s done down hill with her (the owner) behind the bar!!!

Old and run down no meals or dinner for the last 7 years no light beers on tap would not recommend very disappointing 😕

Went to the royal house hotel on the weekend, met some locals had a game of pool on the table bar man was friendly and made me feel welcome, cold beer fun weekend few punts on the tab off south now to Marion bay for a fishing charter the bar man put me onto.
