Perfect position. Access to everything and great views. Staff all very friendly and professional. Wifi has been upgraded recently and is super. Rooms are well equipped and clean. Building is being re painted but the workmen are no problem and noise is at a minimum (room 34)

Was not impressed with workmen renovating  upstairs apartments, started hammering at 7.20 each morning which went on through the day, was not given any notice about this work before we booked, certainly wouldnt have booked our holiday at a contruction site... tv had limited channels due to its age...

I wasn't going to write a review I was giving the owners a chance to own up to what happened and give us a full refund but since they didn't want to I'm writing a honest review. We stayed here during the school holidays with our two younger children we got absolutely covered in bites by something the first few nights the bites slowly started swelling over a few days I went to a pharmacist and they said it looked like bed bugs or fleas, I went and seen the receptionist the next morning and let her know something was biting us up in the room that it was getting more and more day by day, at first I thought maybe it was mosquitoes in the room, that morning we were taking my son to the zoo for his bday so we're were in a hurry and she said she would get someone in to check for bed bug, and move us to a different unit. By the time we got back they had said that there was no bed bugs or fleas and pretty much the bites were not from there unit but they definitely were because we were waking up being bitten and waking up with more and more bites every morning. I had taken photos and shown the lady at the reception the bugs that were in the room and told them we'd like to check out and we'd like a refund as we were covered on bug bites. As a result of the bed bugs I have developed an infection and the owner of unit refuses to take any responsibility, she has threatened me that I had messed her unit and said that i will never get accommodation on the Sunshine Coast again. I have everything recorded and written and medical reports my own personal record. Please think twice before booking here. You can't fit your car in the car park either and the units are very old and smell awful. Hopefully you don't get trapped like we did.

An older building, but we'll maintained. The lift was being upgraded while we were here so we were thankful to only be in the second floor🤣
The ladies at reception are exceptional at communicating with me once the unit was booked, answering my questions, notifying is of the lift upgrade prior to our arrival.
On the whole, a well priced, quiet, well positioned accommodation that is well managed and maintained. Thoroughly recommend it

This is the best spot to vacation in Alex Heads. So close to the best beaches, shops and surf club

I realise this accommodation is self catering but we are here for the second time this year, this time for 3 continuous weeks and not happy! On arrival 1 small soap to use between basin, spa and shower, 1 toilet roll, 1 bin liner, no shampoo, conditioner or body wash. We have been travelling for 4 months and these things are supplied and replaced with weekly service when staying a number of weeks, everywhere; tea, coffee sachets always topped up as well; here no, $4000.00 accommodation and not even a second toilet roll! There is absolutely no connection to the wi fi, ever! Housekeeping, however, do a lovely job servicing linen.

We stayed for 6 nights and no complaints from us. Decent sized apartments, spacious bathroom, nice views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend??'?

Beautiful views and walking distance to most things. Only real big downside was the wifi. It hardly worked while we were there

We had a 4 night stay at this motel overbooking the ocean.
What I liked about it was we were on the 6th floor so you could see the ships coming and going, and I guess whales migrated at certain times of the year.
Great walking along the beach.
Walking distance to Surf Life saving club, tho friendly a bit expensive for what you got.
Good Restraunts all in short Walking distance from our Hotel.

I would re visit this area for a short stay.
Also, visit the Marine Aquarium it was really great.

Easy to book and deal with. Got a great apartment with ocean views and spa bath, opposite the lift which made check in and check out easy. Good facilities, nice pool, great location. Have been before and would return again!

Managers Ross and Kay were so amazing ensuring everything was perfect for our stay. Apartment was fantastic with best beach views and heaps of space. Location was an easy walk to the beach, surf club, cafes and restaurants. I will definitely be going back again

Extremely disappointed with our experience. The room was extremely outdated. The wifi that they advertise to be available everywhere onsite was non existent in our room. The reception acted as though they were unaware of this and asked ME to call their WiFi company when speaking to the WiFi company I was advised that management of the resort are well aware of the ongoing issue as they do not have enough routers on-site, the receptionist who vlaims to be a manager was extremely unhelpful ober our three nights there, there was no effort made to fix the problem. The room was shabby and out dated there was a sign on one of the balcony doors saying don't open as it was broken. Another of general ware and tear stains on the carpet, marks on the wall and a broken cupboard in the kitchen. They also charge extra for everything including toilet paper, pool towels etc. 100% would not recommend. Over priced and outdated.

We had to wait an hour after check-in for our room to be cleaned because the receptionist (Kay) thought we weren't coming for whatever reason. She also tried to get me to cancel my one night booking because they "don't do one night bookings" despite them listing a one night booking on booking.com. Nice place but poor reception.

We stayed for7 nights here. Thank you so much for having us. We had the best time. The staff are just beautiful so welcoming and always up for a chat. Amenities are great so close to everything. Another great midweek stay. Alex seaside resort is the perfect place to stay. I've been coming here for nearly 10years and the resort, the management and the weather never fail to impress. Close to mooloolaba and maroochydore you are in the pick of the Sunshine Coast. Always clean and inviting

From the description and photos it's a pretty unique place to stay at. Ultimately however, with the exception of the pool, it was very disappointing. Especially considering the cost for a tiny twin share. - The swim up bar was never open. Only one of the two heated pools was heated. Cutlery, plates and glasses in the self contained unit were dirty. As in unwashed. Forks still had food on them. WiFi was non existent. Netflix was unavailable. (I don't know if they offer Netflix but there was a Netflix remote in the room) Poolside towels are extra. Poolside seating was minimal and basic. And, despite being sent a text message offering a late checkout of 1pm for an extra $40, we were told we couldn't take them up on the offer because the room was already booked. This despite the fact that the other guests couldn't actually check in until 2pm and the room wouldn't have taken more than twenty minutes to clean and make up. All in all, and despite the pool, which really is quite special, it was a progressively disappointing experience and one we wouldn't like to go through again.

Love this place right opposite the beach. Rooms were clean and spacious, management excellent to deal with and will definately stay here again.

Fabulously large unit and close to the beach and shops! Good views

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. On a corner, almost opposite the skate park next to the surf club, so just a few minutes walk to patrolled swimming, with a beautiful outlook over the beach. Pauline and Dave the owners, were friendly, helpful and pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was spotless, very well equipped and comfortable. Not brand new, but solid and well maintained. Beautiful pool on site. This is my new favourite place to stay.

Decent sized 2br apartment with a good, family friendly layout. Close to the patrolled beach and surf club, and there are lots of dining options available locally.

Could do with modernisation of the televisions, and the included wifi offering is not up to scratch in this day and age (should be unlimited and it should actually work).

A beautiful place to stay very clean all the things you would need for a stay away. Great for my elderly parents they had a unit on the bottom floor that had direct access to the pool area.

Great location and very comfortable during the cooler months. All the amenities you need with local dining and surf club within walking distance. Perfect for girls weekends.
