We had the most incredible Valentine\'s Day dinner at Wongai hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went above and beyond to make the night feel special and memorable.
The food was absolutely outstanding. The steak was cooked to perfection - tender, juicy, and full of flavour - and the tiramisu was the perfect sweet finish to the evening. Everything was beautifully presented and served promptly. We also loved sharing the antipasto platter - such a generous and delicious selection!
The atmosphere was relaxed yet romantic, making it the perfect setting for Valentine\'s Day. You could really feel the effort that went into creating a wonderful dining experience for everyone.

Good sized tasty meals. Clean decent sized rooms. Pool is warm but has shade but is expected at this time of year
They provide spray at the bar at sunset for the sand flies. Friendly staff. Collection from the airport in their courtesy bus included if staying with them

Simple but clean self contained cabins. Microwave in the room is a bonus. Staff are amazing. Excellent service. Has on-site restaurant and a pub. Good meals. Very quick laundry service (no self laundry service). Has a lovely swimming pool as well.

Ate here and had the best burger in a long time, the rest of the crew loved their meals too.

Rooms are great and Very clean, the bathroom comes fully stocked with shampoo conditioner and body wash! Toilet roll was folded nicely.. it's the small things that make places nice to stay! hotel staff and bar staff are very friendly, and the pool has a great view of the harbour area and Thursday island! You will also not go home hungry after a meal here! They pack the plates with quality food for hard workers with big appetites! I come regularly for work and the standard is always the same! The continental breakfast is great too!
