Looks bit worn down on arrival, but the rooms are actually quite nice, clean and cool. When we arrived there was no staff; all automated logging in.

A great of option for a cheap stay at darwin. Rooms are neat and spacious. It is a very quiet place, very much comfortable for family stays.
The only drawback is that it doesn\'t have a lift. Rooms dont have much great views either.

I am from out of state. I needed a place to stay whilst visiting my partner in hospital. This place is great value and has a wonderful dining room serving great pub food. It\'s about 15 min from the hospital and about similar into town so pretty central for me. Can\'t recommend highly enough. Wonderful pub accommodation with own ensuite.

Door lock broken and could access our room after 11hrs of travel time from Tasmania arrived at 1.30am. We called the after hours number which was of site 4 times and got a night manager who barely spoke English. We final gained access at 3.20am. Somewhat unhappy. Requested the door be fixed before we returned next evening and although it was fiddled with they failed to repair it.

No one in reception at all, door card worked intermittently on either door, if you were lucky. Frustrating.
No bath mat, no hair dryer, no shower gel but plenty shampoo/conditioner, no dish drops or tea towel. Doors of rooms very noisy at all hours of night.
Stayed 3 nights, piercing smoke alarm to our room and some others went off each night at 1am, 2am or 3am, was quite annoying.
Over all we had a bad experience here but beds were comfortable, if you got any sleep.
