Great Hotel, excellent modern rooms with new en-suites. Super helpful staff, great food, ice cold beer. Only a short walk to the railway station. Will be going back again

Went to the Windsor Castle Hotel for a nice lunch yesterday. The food came out cold and not to order. We took it back and they just seemed to reserve the same schnitzel and steak with new sides. The chips were soggy and just warm, the steak so overcooked and the schnitzel dripping in oil. Its the worst meal I have ever had there. Been going to the Hotel for over 45 years.

Loved this place! Friendly staff, yummy food, the Sticky Date dessert was amazing! They had a kids section set up with all sorts of activities to keep the little ones entertained. Definitely recommend this place.

Waited in line 25 minutes to order lunch today. Waited about 40 minutes for basic meals. One dish in the order was wrong, schnitzel came out covered in white sauce not gravy. Kitchen staff did offer a pot of gravy when discussed not offer a fresh cooked schnitzel as originally ordered. Food below average. Clearly needed another cashier to assist with orders. Wouldn't recommend this place.

Food is great. A lot of pubs these days that are going down the deep fry everything route as they can't get the skilled staff. Glad to say the fresh Salmon I had was beautiful and well cooked.

The staff are so pleasant and happy to serve you.
The food is always top notch even when the bistro is extremely busy.

Cheap and beautiful lunch menu. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Snacks and lollies handed out while playing the pokies.

Everything is done properly. I had lamb cutlets with Diane sauce. Lamb was cooked perfectly, Diane sauce was the smoothest I'd ever had in my life and delicious. All the pizzas looked stunning for a just a pub. You could just tell that the people in the kitchen cared about the food they were giving to people. All the service staff were super nice and just really helpful. Great pub.

Had a very happy afternoon. The service was friendly and prompt and the food wonderful. Very generous servings, with lovely fresh vegetables.

The Windsor hotel is a lot bigger than on photos and a lot nicer. Staff were great. My meal buzzer stopped working, and they called order over the speaker to collect. All the meals that came out were looking amazing, which made it hard to order what I wanted. Food ended up being really tasty.

Rooms are a good size. Comfortable beds and good showers.

I know I and my work colleagues will be staying here again

Felt like we were staying at an Army Barracks rather than a Hotel. The staff knocked on our door at 9am for a 10am checkout, then again at 9:20, then when I said we would be 15-20 mins behind they said "we don't do late check outs" and even had some sort of manager come up to us demanding we leave at 10. Very disappointing and childish behaviour. When a human being can't even be a little bit lenient (particularly after I've told them I'm having some issues and am going slow) it's simply appalling. We left with our hearts thumping. For the record, we couldn't see another person in sight and saw they weren't fully booked anyway.

Amazing food and an easy, comfortable atmosphere. The mash and potato bake are the best I've ever had. Every visit has been great

Didn't stay at the hotel, just went for a meal.
The venue is nice, clean and spacious.
It was not a busy night when we were there.
The menu prices are competitive too.
However, the menu said thick cut steakhouse chips and we all got something more like shoestring chips, and very dry.
The lasagne was delicious but the steak was served medium- medium well when it was supposed to be rare.
The sauces were good as was the cheesy bacon garlic bread.
Drinks were well priced.
The staff were very friendly and courteous.
All in all, were gonna give them another shot some time soon.

We stayed here for Rod Stewart concert at Roche Estate. The room was good and modern. Only issue was the power went out and this bright light came on in the room and woke us up and it stayed on until power returned. That was annoying but in an emergency you would want that light. Check in took longer than normal as you check in at the bar. There were a couple of marks on bed cover. The cleaning staff are lovely they all greet you when they see you. Was good value modern and clean. What more could you want. We didn't have time to check out the food but have eaten here years ago and it was good. If you can't do stairs make sure you book a room on the ground floor.

The food was great as always, my hubby and myself got garlic bread, chicken wings and the beef burger. As someone who has worked cooking burgers for too many years, the burgers were amazing, and the beef itself was very moist and very filling. Lovely bar staff and the lady taking the food orders was very lovely.

I didn't stay at this venue, however, I did have dinner. New York steak, mushroom sauce, salad and chips.; steak medium. OMG the meal was amazing. Steak cooked perfectly, salad fresh and tasty, chips were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I went on a Wednesday night, members draw. If you don't like crowds, don't go. I thought I would have to wait for ages to get my meal, not the case at all. Would I go back? Hell yeah.

We use to love going to the hotel but three times we have been recently it was too crowded. Today we went and my Chicken pizza was just beautiful but my husbands meal was just warm. He had fish salad and chips while we are not big eaters, we noticed that the meals on special are a lot smaller My husband didn't enjoy his meal so guess we won't be back. We drive 49 minutes for lunch

We only went for a feed chicken & rib night. Was a bit weird one sauce on chicken & another on ribs,next time I will order sauce on the side. A really nice meal other than that. They were also very conscious of gluten-free (medical) so that was great. Yes I will return.

Great food. Fantastic and friendly staff. Just ensure you have all day to wait for your meal. 50 minute wait for steak lunch specials. Three people. Ordered at 12:50, buzzer went off at 1:40pm. Long time waiting for lunch, not a long lunch.

Been here a couple of times. The food was enjoyable and reasonably priced.
Great venue, every time I've been it's been fully. They run a great lunch special (so I hear) Trivia night is fun.

Beautiful pub. Lots of parking, plenty of seating, although it was pretty packed out when we left which is always a good sign. Cold beer and the food was on point! If you can pack it away, I recommend the Tex mex schnitty ??'?? and their NY steak was cooked to perfection! Lovely staff to top it off ???

Unfortunately the night we booked a table the hotel was very full. The meals took close to an hour to be ready and not all were ready in succession- we all lined up and ordered together but some came out sooner and others well after others had eaten even though they had ordered first. The bar staff were a mix of overly friendly and very rude- I get it, it was a very busy night, but being polite doesn't cost anything. Overall the meals were good, the majority were very generous serving sizes while the salmon was very small in comparison. Maybe in a quieter night it would have been better. Not a great place if you suffer anxiety as the noise and crowds could be very overwhelming.

Great hotel with helpful staff, the venue is very clean and spacious. Parking is a problem on-site even on a Monday, street parking would have to be if it's full. Great bistro food and drink prices, specials on the board attract many people to the venue.
It's worth the visit.

Had group meal and all meals were cooked well. I had grilled chicken and it was cooked really well. Vegetables were also nice, had optional grave and if was really nice and plenty of it. Service staff were pleasant to deal with.

Meals were top notch. No issue getting as just rocked up. Would thoroughly recommend

Queue to order food was quote long but moved reasonably quickly. Food came quite fast too considering how busy it was. The food was very very nice. Hot and fresh and a overly generous portions.
Service was great and the staff are friendly too.

I have visited here a few times now and would easily recommend to anyone wanting a decent feed from around the area.

This place is huge. Food is good, if a little more expensive than most places like it. They get the food out pretty quickly, but it's noisy. Don't go hoping for an intimate experience!

The meal was great, my steak was cooked to perfection.Kid friendly with high chairs availiable and a large enough variety of meals plus ice creams for the youngsters. Beer was reasonably priced so was the house wine.Staff was also very friendly and helped out with the birthday cake(storing,supplying cutlery plates etc).All and all a great covid safe night and love it.

Great staff, modern facilities, great food. Only minor complaint was a slightly hard bed. But awesome apart from that. :)
