- front of house staff friendly, room slight odour, window open, heater on re-furbished room and bed comfortable.

1 bedroom apartment - photos online don't do it justice - way better than we expected! Family of 4 - large bedroom big enough to fit portacot, great size living - very clean with fold out couch, tv had Netflix (if you have your own login), small kitchenette was great to feed kids, bathroom SO good - massive, very clean, huge bath and shower, giant towels. Room was serviced each day so nice to come back to a clean space. If it was summer would have been great as little porch area with space for kids to play in a garden-ish area. Block out curtains, heater was awesome - honestly no complaints and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful large rooms immaculately clean and furnished. Could have herbal teas and decaf coffee offered. Loved my dinner at the Bistro and also it being connected to the accommodation. There's no need to go out at night to get a good feed.

We stayed two nights while visiting the wine region on our four week trip in Australia. This location is good but we had a car and we love to walk so we didn't mind walking into the town center.

Overall the hotel is overpriced compared to what we have paid across Australia and we have been in 6 different locations already and my husband's been working in country for a year.

The hotel was good overall. The rooms are big and the bed and pillows were comfortable. All the rooms have doors to the outside so we would call this a motel in the US. The walls are thin so you can hear others talking, babies crying and tvs . There weren't many people at the hotel while we stayed yet there were people in rooms on either side of us and above. I think it would have been nice if they spread us out a bit to disperse the noise.

Ask for a first floor room if you have a lot of luggage. There are only two floors. They have a nice sized tv in the rooms.

There is no view out the back door or chairs to sit in. There is plenty of parking and there are lovely birds to watch in the mornings when it's early.

We did get breakfast included in our price but I took that into account when comparing prices to other hotels we've stayed at.

They have a nice lobby and we had breakfast there both days. Breakfast was good and we did not have any bad experiences as others have written .

The staff was nice. They have bikes to rent which look like they are in good shape. The dinner restaurant was not open on the night we arrived . We did not try dinner there.

We got married here on the long weekend. Everyone had a fantastic time and loved the food. Santiago was brilliant with noticing each time my drink was getting low so I always had one in my hand. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The rooms were fantastic and lovely and clean. We will be back for sure
