Down to earth country pub right on the KKRT.
The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the beer was cold and the food was nice. The service was very friendly.. Perfect place to explore from.
We'll be back.

Booked a room with two beds. Room offered had one double bed. Bed though was good with nice clean linen. Room lacked any furniture to place luggage on for any guests. Room fit out had none of the crockery or cutlery as shown in promo pictures. Jug had to be placed on the fridge to boil jug as the available power point was too far from the bench. You could not fill the jug at the sink which had been obviously upgraded. Also no mirror in bathroom. Bathroom windows were unscreened louvres.There were two glasses but no water jug. Meals were delivered with very blunt butter knives so it was a challenge to cut up dinner. Food was barely three stars.

Old and cozy. Staff super friendly. Beer's cold and the foods very good too 😀

The rooms are barely passable, which is a shame because with not much effort or money, they could be good.

Some new paint & furniture would make a big difference.

I wouldn't recommend it, but if you were desperate for accommodation, its an option.

Have stayed over the road a couple of times with caravan and the two English ladies serving were great. Would like to know there names to thank them again
