Wonderful delicious food for a Friday lunch.
The rolled pork belly and beef ribs were both very tasty.
Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
Will be visiting again.

Very friendly staff and the meals were huge. Hubby ordered the pepper calamari & he couldn't believe how much calamari was on the plate bloody awesome.

I'm still waiting for my meal it's been an hour so far, told another 10 min to wait, everyone else ate 30 min ago.
Considering its an RSL don't expect cheap drinks either.
I'm definitely going to a pub tomorrow night.
Probably 2stars is generous yet to experience what the meal is like.
Certainly not worth the wait, not a great parma.
If you want a GREAT Pama go to the Violet town pub.

Great food, drink and staff. Had a great time with friends and atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Staff are exceptionally rude when it comes to vistors. Rejected from vendor from providing my home number. Without the offering of a second option of a mobile. Had told me i am prohibited from entering again..

Had lunch with the family, service was a little slow, but ok, food was reasonable but a little pricy, the venue itself was good, nice area, walk to shop and rivers, parks after lunch

Usual RSL but with larger seating capacity. Great food and quantity. One of the best options in Wangaratta.

Staff were very pleasant and of course I respect the RSLs mission. But I paid $17 for a pint of beer which is just crazy. I was also put off by the pokies - how those horrible things help veterans or their families is beyond me!?!

Friendly staff, great food. Had chicken schnitzel and Filipino pork senior serves which were both really tasty. Chicken burger also great. Well worth a visit 😊

Dropped in on the way through, good old steak night. $25 with a beer. My daughter loved the kids meal, a nice sized soft drink in a glass, and icecream with sprinkles for the win. Friendly, accommodating staff, and everything was clean and easy.

Wonderful venue to visit to relax , have a light meal, coffee or tea ,lovely meal of calamari etc , able to sit in peace look out to see the beautiful gum trees .

Went there the other night for Palma &pot. The food and service was excellent. The down side was the potty mouth woman telling her baby to shut the F...... Up when it started crying. It was 9pm both the toddler and the baby should have been home in bed. Is there a law about minors in bars?

We were told it was a good place to eat. We ordered from the seniors menu, we were both very disappointed with the food we were served. We will certainly think twice about returning.

Nice RSL, the beer was lovely and cold at $7.40 a schooner. The chicken parmigiana and chicken schnitzel that we ordered for lunch with chips & salad $55.00 was bloody terrible. Deep fried tough thick cut of chicken which was horrible, and the chips on both plates were cold so I imagine they had been sitting in a bain marie for quite awhile. For a club that charges these prices I think the meals could be of a better quality. Chef needs to lift his game.

Good sized meals of average quality at rather high prices. Staff were polite and friendly, just your typical pub grub.

Sunday night carvery, 3 courses for $25 is great value, and the food was delicious. The only very small disappointment was that there was only one option for dessert, which was a pav with cream and coulis. But again, just a small issue as it was still very tasty.

Service and staff are great. You should all be proud of your standards. Roast beef was huge.(wife didn't get close to finishing) . A good reliable RSL experience.

I highly recommend the Wangaratta RSL for a meal. Sunday is Carvery Night and the meat servings are very generous. Delicious pork, beef and lamb cooked to perfection.

Have recently revised their menu. The new menu is interesting and tempting. Most of our meals were great but, unfortunately, one person ordered the Lamb Roast and got the reheated tail-ends of the roast with no roast vegies.
Pity! As we have had some good meals there.

Nice food, but the service is excellent. Matt is friendly, engaging and recognises a new face easily.

Nice venue with live music. We were visitors so had to pay the non- member prices. Ordered a schooner of beer and ginger beer, they came to about $18.90. Seemed quite overpriced.

Great meals and very friendly and helpful staff that provide great service, highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal in Wangaratta.

I never thought I'd taste the best braised lamb in such a small town. Get it with a pint of Guinness and pure joy ensues

Very nice interior and helpful pleasant staff who went out of their way to bring me my meal earlier as I was traveling and in a hurry. Meal was nice but I couldnt eat it all as it was very generous in size. I would return here if that way again.

Very busy place (Sat night). Our steaks and sides were excellent, faultless for such a venue. Zero ambience (but that was expected...) Based on food alone, it is very good value.
Unfortunately queueing for 25 minutes to order is not acceptable. That is 25 minutes of my date staring at the TV telling people about membership raffles, There has to be a better way, maybe two tills??

Stayed in Wangaratta on our way home to Melbourne. Food was delicious, we both had steaks (eye fillet and scotch fillet) and a sneaky dessert. The staff were lovely and made us welcome. We have signed up and are now members if RSL in Victoria I would definitely recommend the food here.

What a great club. We were made to feel that we were part of the crowd. Will definitely go back again. A really friendly club.

I couldn't believe the prices for meals in this RSL. Basic pub grub, at swanky restaurant prices. $8.60 for two soda waters (carbonated water) with our meals. Really?!
