Camille was our hostess & provided excellent service.
Very under much under the pump as she was on her own taking orders, pouring beers& keno for a very full bistro.
Highly recommend!

Staff are great and what you love from a country pub, right down to the barman helping bring the drinks to the table when hands were full! Highly recommend, great food and service.

When our previous dinner plans fell through, Camille went above and beyond to fit us in despite it being a busy Saturday night. The food was fresh and delicious. Thank you again.

So good we went two days in a row whilst in town. Amazing food, and amazing service from the bar and floor staff.

Between us we experienced the Salt & Pepper Calamari, the Cheeseburger, Crumbed Steak, Roast of the Day (lamb), Steak Sandwich, Crispy Chicken Wings, and the Teryaki Beef Stir Fry.
Everything was delicious and the meal sizes were very generous.

Would definitely recommend, and would definitely return!

Big and delicious meals. Steak was cooked perfectly. Typical prices of a city pub in a regional area. Little play area for the kids was very much appreciated. Service was friendly enough but not incredible - we had to ask for menus, our plates were not cleared away, and there was no follow up. All in all, a great dining experience and I would recommend.

Best steak I have had out in a long time. Great quality meat cooked to perfection. Young girl at the bar was brilliant too. Friendly, polite, very efficient and provided great service with a smile and some laughs. Thanks heaps ???'? great dining experience

Got a discount voucher from the caravan park. Food was delicious. Had a steak which was very tender. Were served quickly. Staff were friendly.

We had a meal there tonight. The staff were very friendly. My partner had meatlovers pizza, it was good & he was offered a container for leftovers. I had the crumbed 'steak' chips & salad. Now, after driving all day I was starving, so ate it, but to receive a 'formed' piece of meat & pass it off as steak, without any disclosure of it being 'formed' I felt ripped off, especially as it cost $26

Best steak I have had in last 20 years. Can't say enough about this meal. It was delicious, tender, and very tasty. I had the 400 gram steak with salad. It was reasonable priced and great value for money. 10 out 10.

Amazing Pub! Amazing staff! Foods pretty good too!! Had the BLAT special highly recommend if they have it on the board!! Definitely worth a visit. They outdid themselves for their haloween birthday bash!!

Beautiful spot if Ur wanting to get away to some true aussie, history rich country. Service is amazing and friendly, say hi to Val and Brianna on Ur way in, they r very helpful, food was even better, . they let us know accommodation is on the way, can't wait.

Ordered the rack of lamb. It was definitely NOT a rack but 3 very tiny overcooked cutlets. The vegies were nice but also small, potato & sour cream nice. The mint gravy was delish - the saviour of the plate. Rack of lamb should be.... well a rack. Call it what it is... miserable dry chops.

Great spot to have lunch on the way through, friendly, great service, gave us extra chips and gravy as we were sharing a meal after a big breakfast, couldn't do one each. Our local The Waterloo Bay hotel in Wynnum charge for every bit no matter what and they got ten times the patron's as there in a prime spot. I'd rather the country service any day.

Had lunch at the Victoria Hotel a weekend or two ago. Both my partner and I ordered pizzas, not knowing how big they were!! But they were fantastic. My partner had the vegetarian one, he so enjoyed it, and I had the Hawaiian, it was so good!! We both commented that we had not had such good pizzas for a long time. And the size of them meant that we could not get through them, so were kindly given a pizza box to take the leftovers with us. And the service was excellent too, the lovely young lady behind the bar and serving the restaurant was kept busy, but always had a smile on her face!! Can definitely recommend and will be back on our next visit to Gundy!!!!

Seniors roast had 5 different vegies ,plenty if meat . Service efficient with friendly polite staff. Sticky date ?

Pub was very popular by crowd in the bar, so we entered the lounge & bar for dinner. Good range of meals. My wife had the slow cooked beef pie, and I had the barramundi griled. Both were great.

We stopped at the Victoria Hotel for dinner. Service was fantastic, with a good range of food options.

There were several vegetarian dishes on the menu, and the usual range of pub classics.

Perhaps not the cheapest place in town, but well worth the price.

The pub itself is very nice. But it's the staff that make this place awesome!!
They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome for the nights we stayed. It really made our visit to Goondiwindi special.
We highly recommend a visit to this iconic pub. The food is tasty and such good value. I wish we lived closer!

The staffs were very friendly. The food was delicious. I had Barramundi and pumpkin salad. Both were delicious and the fish was fresh. We were a group of 8 people and we all enjoyed the meals.

Our family went to the Victoria hotel for lunch on Christmas Day, wow the food at the Vic is always A1 but Christmas Day was next level.
The tables were beautifully decorated by Ben's talented wife and daughters, we enjoyed a smorgasbord lunch which included seafood as well as the traditional Christmas lunch, the desserts were next level.
The children got to meet Santa (aka Ben ) best Santa ever, they received gifts from Santa as well. Nothing was a problem for the team who gave up Christmas Day with their family for us.
We Thank you Ben and team for a wonderful day.

Great family stop for lunch on our long roadtrip. Food was quick and tasty. Nice quiet, air conditioned space, clean bathrooms and well equipped and unexpected little kids play area. Would definitely recommend.

Heard that the Vic put on a very good Xmas Lunch. Drove from the Gold Coast to check it out. What a wonderful day, brilliant food and good company. Well worth the trip.Thanks Ben , the family and all the staff. A Xmas to remember.

Great old pub with old world charm and new world comfort. Worth a stop. Lunch smelt fantastic but we didn't have time to stop and try. Beer was old with a good selection. Fantastic service!

I stopped here for lunch. The building renovation is lovely. The food was good. There were some problems with my drinks order (twice) but they were corrected by the professional staff. Well worth a visit. Next time I'd like to get a room for a night.

There was one thing I didn't like which was the electronic ordering system which suggests a tip. Firstly we are not in the US (and tipping culture should be discouraged in my view). Secondly, if a tip is appropriate then it should be at the end of the meal not at the ordering stage.

Enjoyed a lunch at the Victoria Hotel when passing through. Nice dining area, complete with fireplace & online meal ordering. Menu offers pub classics, more specials would be good to suit budgets, otherwise we enjoyed our meal & service.

Great greeting from the bar staff. Checked the QR & found 1/2 the menu was "unavailable ". Left and went to the Royal across the road which has a great full menu.
Victoria Hotel is trading on it's past reputation. It is a magnificent building. Pity about the bistro

I had a great meal at the Lounge Bar at the Victoria Hotel. The food was great, but it was the service that really impressed me. The waitress was so friendly and helpful, and the shift manager was more than happy to alter a meal deal to suit my preference. They were both proactive and anticipated what I needed... My second beer arrived without me having to say a thing... :)

a little late in posting our review but it was Monday 26/7 we had a meal in the lounge at the Victoria Hotel As we were passing through town, and it was our first time here and the young lady who served us and brought our meals too us was amazing! Despite being a little off put from her abundance of piercings and tattoos she proved to be a very delightful young lady who was only too happy to help she was very attentive in our service and made our quick stop over in Goondiwindi very enjoyable I'm only sorry I can't remember her name name! A huge thumbs up and a giant five shiny stars to her. We will definitely stop back in on our next holiday through Goondiwindi keep up the amazing service Victoria Hotel ?

Delightful venue, friendly staff, our meal was excellent. We both liked the idea of being able to order wine and meal at the same bar, and that you could order wine in a regular glass, a large glass or a bottle. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, unfortunately the service lacked professionalism. I would like to mention that there was one staff member that picked up where the service lacked and it wasn't the one with the hoodie or the extensive piercings. Just saying, word of mouth travels.

Absolutely LOVE the pork ribs! They are melt in your mouth fantastic! The staff are all so lovely and chatty which make the whole experience that much better!! Special shout out to Leah and Erika!

To my surprise, one of the best cooked steaks I've ever had!Yes, it's pub fare in a pub setting but all meals were beautifully cooked and delicious.Highly recommended.

We decided to take the stress away this year for Christmas so we made a table booking at the Victoria Hotel for Christmas lunch. Our table consisted of 4 people, one of our quartet being a Qualified Chef who is regarded as a food connoisseur and not faint hearted at voicing an opinion. For our Christmas Day Lunch booking we were picked up at our door and driven to the hotel where upon arrival we were greeted by the hotel manager Hanna who escorted us to our table. The Lunch was an amazing food experience with fresh ingredients, delicious and generous portions, served with tasteful crockery, cutlery, white linen table clothes and napkins. If Good food and service is what you look for in a dining experience then doing Christmas Lunch at the Victoria Hotel should be high on your list. My compliments to the Hotel Manager Hanna and Head Chef Steve for making our Christmas Lunch so memorable.

Great meal the staff were amazing the Bistro had no air conditioning and was hit as hell they had coolers around with ice in them and the windows open but it didnt help i ended up feeling sick due to the heat i would def go there again though great staff and great meal.

Just wanted to take a moment to compliment the service we received from Zoe last weekend. You guys were super busy, the restaurant was at capacity, and she was fantastic! I appreciate a server who does a great job, and she handled the restaurant with a perfect display of relaxed competence. Well done! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was relaxing.

Excellent meals. I must say I had a rump steak cooked to perfection. All the meals I have had are above the standard of any hotel I've eaten at. Top class! Keep up the good work guys. I would recommend dining at the Vic!
