Attended work function, with meals provided by The Union Hotel and they were awesome. Had the Chicken schnitzel and Fish and chips for lunch on two different days, just great while a good portion size.

Good quality, tasty food was well prepared using fresh ingredients. Ordered the barramundi, beef eye fillet and seafood linguine. The fish and beef were well presented with high quality sides. Amazing mash. Pleasant staff. Would go again.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Rather good pub food. Very good selection of wines. Good variety of meals on the menu. Sport on screens, if that's your thing. There is a rooftop bar, but sadly not always open.

A lovely, classy suburban hotel with a nice fitout, many screens that are constantly playing sport, poker machines, function rooms downstairs and upstairs, and good food.

The hotel is also well-located on the Pacific Highway with a bus stop literally out the front and North Sydney Police Station right next door.

I think relative to most other places in North Sydney, Union is definitely one of the better places. The prices aren't cheap as with most places around North Sydney, but they have very generous serving sizes and the taste is consistently good. Personal favourite is their special Surf & Turf Steak every Friday, but everything else looks decent too. Would recommend if you are in the area.

Espresso martini's ? are a Thursday fav, alongside the Drunken mussels ?what an absolute delight. (Bring back this special ? please) I'm so glad we accidentally found this place, it's amazing with awesome and friendly staff.

I recently hosted my wedding in the west room. I must say Daniel and the team were very helpful with setting up the room and making our guests feel comfortable by sharing the food platters, assisting with the music setup. They were also competitively priced for such a well located venue. Highly recommended for your next function or party!!

Solid menu with a good range of options, priced extremely reasonably, but our food was over cooked even though it wasn't busy. We were also asked to move tables twice, with no apology, and ended up on a weird table that's virtually out the door. Fries and new decor were a winner though!

Recently updated with a new decor, good pub feel with an open and closable roof top terrace. Good meals and specials. Bar staff are very friendly. Our new local!

Happy to call this my local pub, will be going there a lot under the new management, the menu is varied and the food is excellent. Good atmosphere and the seating has been upgraded to very comfortable

Great refurb of the hotel. Staff great. Ordered the nachos and the Guinness pie. Good food. Fresh and well presented. Any WOW factor in either dish? No. $45 dollars for nachos and a pie. I think with the money pubs are spending on renovations they need some WOW. I can't knock the Union, it's good but there's no " I'm coming back soon " feel. Thanks for lunch ??'?

This pub has so much potential. The upstairs and rooftop is excellent, yet it never seems to be open! I know extra staff might be required, but I would gladly walk downstairs to order and collect food + drink if it meant I could sit upstairs.

The downstairs decor is very dark and is hidden away from the warm sydney sun.

Friendly staff. Good for catch-ups over a drink.

We dropped in for dinner. The place wasn't too busy for a monday night, with plenty of spacious tables to sit at.

Food arrived promptly, and serving sizes were perfect.

We ordered salmon, a pie and a side of chips. The Salmon and veggies were cooked to perfection, and the pie was yummy and filling. So many chips! we didn't finish them between the two of us.

Good ole pub grub.

Very impressed with the food and the service here, especially on a very busy night. The only reason not 5 stars was that the place really smelled strongly of perfume, which I assume was either from perfume sprayers or someone going crazy with air fresheners. That part was very unpleasant.

Well , what a disappointment. Order our food an hour ago , to then discover that they had miss my order . They tried to argue with no empathy at all. Only to tell us how many orders they had. not my problem.,,,,
Food was then cold , and then again failed to delivery on the 2 mins that it would take ..

Really 2 more mins?? How did it take an hour then ?? But 10mins later I have my food.

It was great, the food and atmosphere, the staff were fantastic but it was a bit cold, I think Sydney was very cold that night, had a great time, the steak was great and the gravy and chips were great as well, I am going for lunch today.

There is a guy who's name is Dane and is very disrespectful! When I complained, instead of apologising, he said sorry for confusion!
He said he is discreet, but his voice is echoing in the whole place, trying to intimidate customers if someone complains!

My go-to for pub grub!! Steaks, burgers and fries all cooked perfectly and tastes amazing!!

Staff super helpful and friendly. Sunday Special - Steak Sandwich generously priced but carb loaded - over 120g of carb. I'll choose from the otherwise great pub menu next time.

I attended for a meeting with a toddler in tow and the children meals were surprisingly good. We will definitely be back to try out the other menu items in the near future

Great place for a Monday lunch. $15 steak and chips special. Covid Safe registration required and rigorously followed through.The steak was perfectly cooked (rare). I would recommend and will return in the future.

The girl that manages this place at night is just horrible. We went there for an evening out and were seated in an isolated area. Every time one of us stood up to reach for our bags, or having returned from the toilet she would freak out and treat us like kids. I understand that times have changed and we're not allowed to walk around, but geez when there's nobody else around in your zone, she needs to relax a bit.

Excellent local pub with different areas depending on mood and weather (for courtyard). Good staff with nice pub food and decent selection of drinks. Pokies and TAB at the front bars are there for those who like that or easy to ignore for the back and side entrances. Overall good atmosphere.
