Good ambience, helpful staff, good facility, meh food. Awesome place for get togethers if food is not a priority.

Been there a couple of times, always for work events, and during busy times. Great lawn bowling venue, with a good mix of outdoor, indoor seating and even when busy don't have to wait long to get drinks as they have few taps, bar counters setup. Food isn't that great but I wouldn't blame being work events during busy periods, not easy to feed hundreds at once. Overall it's always been a good idea experience there. Btw not many parking spots so Uber/taxi is the best option.

Yesterday was our company Christmas party at the Greens Club, and unfortunately the foods quality was severely disappointing. The turkey was extremely tough, and the pumpkin was not fresh. The dessert had a very unpleasant taste, and I couldn't eat it.

To add to the disappointment, when I requested watermelon juice, they informed me it wasn't available, which was quite disheartening for a Saturday event, their peak operating day, and during the summer season. It's surprising that they didn't have a readily available beverage listed on their menu.
The starter is not very special and just ok.

Overall, the dining experience fell short of expectations and is not recommended, especially considering the cost per person they charged.

I enjoyed the Christmas party with colleagues in such a nice and relaxing place. The live music was fantastic and the singer had a smooth and lovely voice. The staff were polite and helpful. At the cocktail bar, they tried their best to make colourful and fascinating cocktails. I would like to thank all the staff for their good manners! ???
Finding a parking space was a little bit challenging!

We went for the team event and got one of their packages. The lawn bowling was good but the food was below average. Vegan burger was without much flavor and dry. They asked for dietary requirements however the vegan & vegetarian options very limited. On positive note the staff was helpful and friendly.

Food and service were not as bad as some reviews suggested. I guess it depends on whether you came when they're busy... I came for a group event (while it's not too busy), and to be honest I think the food and service were fine.

The orders came quite quickly and there's hassle-free QR code ordering which's handy.

The locational convenience and lovely surrounding (excluding the construction work going on around) made it an appropriate venue for gatherings or events, hence my 4-star rating. Otherwise it's a bit better than average at 3-star.

A lovely venue to visit if you love barefoot bowling. We went, but we wore our shoes during the game.

I walked from North Sydney, and Omg it felt like 30 minutes to be honest ? I was walking up the hill, google said 16 minutes or so. I was walking up the hill!

The food was lovely, I got to try a few finger foods and they were delicious.

The bar service wasn't so friendly, though. Most acted grumpy unfortunately, but for the food, the game, the vibe, it was worth it.

The drink selection was good, they do have cocktails.

The staff here are relatively friendly but that's about where the good times end. The drinks menu was more dry than a martini, and that's saying something. We came ready to celebrate, and so we ordered 4 different cocktails, of which 3 were underwhelming.

For entrees we ordered the wild mushroom and goats curd croquettes. The serving size was good actually, and the way they dressed the plate was nice but the filling itself was so lacking in flavour. No seasoning, couldn't taste the apparent mushroom or goats curd ... I've had greater culinary experiences from wet toast.

For mains we ordered the two top priced mains, the corn fed chicken and the pasture fed strip loin. The only thing stopping me from returning it, was the girl at the pass who couldn't speak English.

The chicken was so over cooked, my partner who cannot cook to save his life - has actually done better. My strip loin was medium rare, and served with the tiniest sliver of butter as a sauce. Served with so-called roast heritage tomatoes (Cherry tomatoes) The steak was cooked properly but still was tough, I don't think the quality was what the menu advertised, which is disappointing for $38

The whole thing was expensive, disappointing and challenging to consume.

We came here for a work Christmas function. Food was ok, the entree was definitely more tasty than the mains. Mains were quite dry even with all the sauces.

I used to come here frequently when I worked in North Sydney and it was a perfect spot for a long Friday afternoon lunch. My vegan dish was was delicious and the drinks are very reasonable. The service was excellent and prompt. I particularly like the tap and pay system which negates the need to separate the bill afterwards. The reviews seem mixed so I guess it depends on the day and time but our experience was excellent. No prepayment involved and if you book to have a later lunch, some street parking ends at 3pm.

Atmosphere is very lovely here and its spacey for prams. I visited on a weekend and it was VERY busy (and loud) so it was a good thing I booked. Wait staff were trying to be friendly despite it being an obviously stressful day for them!!

I ordered the beetroot salad which could've had more beetroot pieces. The dressing was very nice. The burger and the kids meal (fish and chips) wasn't bad but nothing special. The dishes were very pricey so I expected more from them

Went to the Greens North Sydney couple of times for lunch. The environment is casual, however food choices were limited the last time when I was there in December 2021. Service is friendly and there are both indoor and outdoor seating available.

The receptionist is super friendly, we got a little baby and dogs, eventually sit outside but they reserved this table with pram space for us. Very appreciate! Highly recommended. Perfect place for family, friends. Food is bit pricey but yum!

Loved the grilled barramundi! The crispy skin paired with the clean greens and creamy buttery sauce was a good balance refreshing and fulfilling. The burger is also a great choice! Definitely a crowd favourite on the day I was there.

Great little local place for a sunny afternoon. Child and family friendly, music and a great atmosphere.

Service was a little unresponsive and the food was average. Burger was overdone and dry, pork belly was delicious as was the focaccia bread.

Lots of open spaces for kids to run free while you kick back and have a drink. Drink options, cocktails etc are good.

The Greens is such a cool spot, it's like a fancy, trendy bowling club with great views. Dog friendly which is also important! You can sit at a table with friends, drink a beer and have some great food.

I really hope to cancel this scene, or just make drinks and snacks without oil fume. In the evening and noon, when people are exercising at leisure?walking , oil smoke and barbecue smell occupy half of the park.

The location and atmosphere are definitely 5-star. The food is great, but still pretty much high-end pub grub. Where they make their money is obviously on the booze--an average selection of beers and wines are on offer for prices that are on the high side. Still, if the weather's nice, this place is hard to beat.

The venue is lovely. Wine list is great. Staff was wonderful. Would have given 5 stars if the food was better. Chips were great and burgers too. I had the steak and I ate everything around it, too tough. There were a few steaks ordered in our group and we all felt the same. Will get the burger next time.

I wasn't sure whether I was gonna write a review but it has been bothering me since. I went in around a week and a half ago with my husband and we were certainly disappointed. The food was below average, chefs weren't wearing gloves or hair nets absolutely appalling and the staff in general seemed incompetent. The only good thing is the outside area, it was nicely done however when walking up to the bar to get drinks, two staff members were sitting down on chairs behind the bar, VERY unprofessional. The management really need to look at who they are hiring.

Good view from the hill. A Place for a sunny weekend with family. Parking is a bit limited to 10 spots.

Recently held an event here for 60 people during Covid - the staff were amazing and really responsive to requests. Great venue to partner with and would definitely book again. Not to mention the view is absolutely stunning! Great spot to grab a bite to eat, play a game of bowls or both! Harbour views like no other!

This place has gone downhill so far. The poor ordering app, the narrow menu, a chef who does not seem to know how to make a burger, and small things (like bringing cutlery with food) being missed.To fix this place they need to:- remove the big moldy tent- replace the chef- find a manager who caresPity. Its a good location and Ive had fun here in the past.

The venue has gone down hill since it opened. You have to order on an app to get drinks and can not go up to the bar. You also can not get into the club with out a membership even if you live in Penrith like I do.half our drinks didnt come to the table. Not worth the time or the money better off going somewhere else.

It was a first time visit to The Greens for Margaret and me. We both thought it was an admirable place with a good aspect from the table we were at. I thought the staff was agreeably friendly and professional and the service was speedy and efficient. But sad to say we both felt that the food we had was very disappointing. Both meals were splendidly presented but the taste of both was very disappointing . I had the Smoked Trout Salad and Margaret the Chicken Salad. The small potatoes in my meal were perfectly cooked but needed to be at room temperature and not straight from the cold store. I love smoked trout and think serving it in chunks is better than mashing it as it was today. But the element that really wrecked both dishes was the too acidic dressing that did nothing to enhance the taste of the food. As always Margaret and I had our usual good time together but sad to say neither of us will be able to recommend The Greens to others. 'Lovely looking venue and beaut staff, pity about the food' is what we will both say.
