Ordered Crispy Skin Duck yesterday as a main meal and, although it was very tasty, it was quite COLD ! My husband says I should have asked for it to me microwaved.
Made me wonder if it had been forgotten for delivery to our table as the service wasn't prompt.
However, my friend's Soup was both tasty and hot so she was very happy.

We often visit on Thursday for steak night. The steak is not great and the last three times has not been cooked as requested. Medium/rare was almost raw and well done was not cooked well enough. The meal is boring. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but there are some that could do with extra training. On two separate occasions we had the wait staff reach across the table to remove items while we were still eating, not even bothering to ask if we were finished.

I ordered my usual chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce a d it was excellent. In fact, the mushroom sauce was amazing... the best I have ever had. My mum had the lamb roast special which was also delicious as it was too much for her.

Decent place for a long catch-up over lunch. Public holiday (15% surcharge) was open and staffed well. Can't complain about service or food just maybe the price for a pub lunch was a bit high but still worth it. There are lots of different options on the menu to please. Indoor and outdoor seating aplenty. The noise doesn't carry. Which is nice

We had booked for 3 adults for Christmas lunch but because my wife became bedridden we were unable to make it. I spoke with Lorena, the manager, and was told they could do the whole menu as takeaway. This was on Christmas Day. I have never been happier with any dining place. I got a huge amount of food which is delicious. All of the staff from Lorena and the chef as well as the restaurant staff were all so lovely and sympathetic towards us. This made my rather miserable Christmas so much more enjoyable. Thanks everyone involved. ❤️❤️ PS I had insured the cost of the meals in case my wife got as poorly as she did. I would get my money back and the Hotel would still be paid in full. They could have said it was too difficult on Christmas Day on top of all the work they were doing but no, excellent service. Pretty bad experience. Maybe just bad luck? Our two meals took 45 minutes to arrive even though hotel was empty. Steak badly overdone, replacement was ok but we wondered if they are pre cooking the steaks then warming to order? Chicken in the burger burnt. We are chefs and noticed both steaks had a distinctive 'fridge' taste. Management were friendly and offered replacement drinks to compensate though the glass of wine never arrived. For the price it was a disappointment, wouldn't dine there again.

I've been to the TA several times over the years and can reliably count on the pub to deliver quality food at great prices. On specific days they'll have awesome food/drink specials and I love coming here on Wednesdays for the awesome quiz nights. I wouldn't call the establishment/food 'world class' but for a quality Adelaide pub to have a feed, it fits the bill perfectly. Can't wait to come back.

I had never been here before but with some hungry teens we needed food stat! The prices are definitely higher than your regular pub and I was concerned HOWEVER it was worth every cent!! The quality and quantity of all four of our meals was great. Well worth it and we have already recommended TA to others.

When you book a table for 14 people, allow them to sit alongside each other, without adults, trying to eat on on a corner of a table, circa 1984 when you put the card table out at Christmas, for the kids. Further more, when we spend almost 1k for the night, you have the audacity to ask for a cakeage fee. The $57 rib eye was good, the rest was what you'd get at some other pub, that didn't care. The wait staff were good, but the head staff we're rude. You want people to come back, maybe on for a schnitzel on ya cheap nights, if and when I'm up that way. Happy/But not happy.. Mr Hurley needs to whip this joint into line??'?

A group of 6 for lunch today - great service, delicious food and the atmosphere relaxing. The lower dining room area is very conducive to communication away from the buzz of the upstairs dining area. The staff weee wonderful - thank you! We have booked again for our next catchup.

I'm not one to complain but after a very unsatisfactory meal i felt obliged to leave a review. On a quiet tuesday night my wife and i went to the TA for a quick feed. I chose the buttermilk fried chicken burger at $23.50. The meals came out pretty quickly and unfortunately that is where the positives ended. The burger that i was presented with was saddest burger i have ever seen. As i said, i wouldn't cause a fuss normally but i did take the burger back after seeing a lack of contents of the burger to a staff member and asked is this what is normally served. The staff member said she would take it to the chef and ask. A few moments later the burger returned in the same sad state and i was informed this is how it is presented. To set the scene the burger came with a minuscule amount of chicken, minimal sauce, 2 pieces of lettuce, 2 flavourless pickles, dry burger bun and chips. No decent chef would be proud to serve up that joke.

Unfortunately the buttermilk fired chicken burgers were so dry and chewy so very disappointed in that. They put the tiniest dash of sauce on the bun.

Overall pleasant experience and the wait staff were so so polite. Very happy.

Held my Birthday Party on Saturday in the courtyard for 70 people. 5 out of 5 TA. The food, the service was excellent. The pre planning was just so easy and professional, nothing was any trouble Excellent Job Cooper ! (Function Manager).

Beautiful restaurant quality food. We dined in the room on a lower level from the newer, modern dining room. This room is heritage decorated, the lighting is warm and creates a more intimate atmosphere. The staff are very well trained and friendly but not intrusive. Seniors menu is offered alongside a main menu and is comprehensive. There is also a chef special menu of the day. Something for absolutely everybody. 10/10 .

Had the best lamb shoulder here, I had to return a 2nd time! And there will no doubt be a 3rd+ Great place with lots of different places to eat and relax. Highly recommend!

Had seniors lunch the other day. Pleasant dining room, quiet and cozy. I ordered the salmon which I thought was a bit expensive for the seniors menu. Oddly had a boiled egg and olives along with other hot veg on the plate.Fish was nice though

Great atmosphere at this lovely family oriented pub! We were a large group booking and all enjoyed our meals served by extra friendly and helpful staff. This made for a lovely dining experience!

Good vibe, good outdoor setting for watching the footy. Good choice of liquor, TAB all round good pub.

Went for the quiz night, wasn't too bad for a free night. We did have a bit of an issue with food, our friends had finished their meals before ours had even come out, which also meant we were eating while the quiz was on. We purposely got there early to avoid that. Food was tasty though, would go again.

Awful experience, and never coming back. The staff were rude, took ages to even seat us, set us at an unset table, didn't bring any cutlery over for our food, staff refused to even look at us when bringing over our food and where generally hostile the whole night. We were polite, and well behaved so the only thing I can chalk this experience down to is homophobia, as I was on a date. Extremely disappointed because I love the food, but the experience means Ill never be coming back.

Nice place for a family meal, the meals are mid range price but out of the table who ordered different meals (about a dozen if us) everyone enjoyed their meal and had not one complaint.
Definitely worth a visit, just for the meals alone

Enjoyable night would recommend the Torrens Arms for a family celebration, 21st or just for a meal. Staff very friendly.

Just had takeaway from the TA. Roast lamb shoulder with veggies and polenta. Really lovely and so easy. Just choose your heat and eat from the fridge in the drive thru bottle shop. Like having a lovely pub meal at home. Lamb was tender and beautiful. Definitely back again for more. Get on this

Nice atmosphere. Good generally with reasonable selection and a couple of different menu items. Service usually impeccable though on last visit no staff to collect the money as 2 largish tables left and went to pay on the way out. Left waiting for about 5 minutes!!

Just dropped in for a bottle of wine as it was a hot day, then decided we would share the dips plate which for $18 was great, with warm crusty bread, two dips, marinated feta, fresh carrot sticks as well as pita and corn chips was ample enough for the two of us. Made us think we might come back and try some other things on the menu as everybody around seemed to be enjoying their meal as well as the plates looking and smelling very inviting.

High quality environment with competitive prices. My favourite part of the TA is the staff who are the perfect amount of attentiveness. There was a mistake with our order but the staff handled it with complete competence, a trait lacking in many similar establishments.
