Customer Review

Went there with the kids to see the lego displays . Was well organised, large undercover area, not to crowded and free parking that day.

Great venue and from what I'm hearing, only poised to get better. The new ceo has a vision and concept to make Thoroughbred Park a fantastic and multi faceted venue and its very exciting. While now, still a great place to enjoy and experience.

At the Thoroughbred Park, a special event is on today, the 3rd of March, the Canberra Festival of Speed.

The first time held at the Thoroughbred Park, and also for Canberra, a wonderful ? festival to see all the car ???- ?, like a Porches, BMW'S, Ford's, Ferraris and many more ? cars.

The festival organisers made a special track to run the speed car ???- on.
Sponsors by car sales yards and by the owners of the speed ? cars ???- ?.

Many business owners sponsor the Canberra Festival of Speed, and some of them supplied food ? ? ??'? for the people.

I ? hope that ? will be next year too ?.

First Festival of Speed and it was great. There is room for improvement, but everyone I spoke to, said at least it is something.
The space needs a drag racing track of double the length at least because on the current straight cars can barely get to some high speed before breaking again.
The high fence on the outside of the track was ridiculous. Why? When the inside track was low.
Why was it not planned to have a proper view of the track? Outside hills so you can see the cars go around the track rather than 2 seconds flash past.
Where is the speed indicator? At 100m what was each cars speed? Have electronic boards flash these up.
But it was a great experience and we learn through our first trail. The food vans were great, maybe add more food to the inside tracks.
The attentiveness to rubbish was great. But does the recycling really get recycled? Could you have a third bin next year for 10c things and donate this to charity?
Another highlight from other experiences were the burnout arena.
