I called on Friday to book a room for Sunday and upon arrival I was greeted by friendly and polite staff that are very accommodating and even received a room upgrade with no additional cost. I had an issue with the TV not connecting to the guest WiFi and when I notified the manager, Christian he offered to bring another one straight up with no hesitation although in the end it wasn't required as the issue had already fixed itself by the time they come up to sort it out.

The room I'm staying in number 4 is very spacious and has beautiful views overlooking the Wynyard wharf and is a short distance walk to gutteridge gardens which is a lovely little place to take your family and even have events on at their auditorium, I will definitely be recommending the Wharf Hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay for a good price. Very happy with my stay and looking forward to a counter meal for tea.

We had a group of 14 dine with us at the Wynyard Wharf Hotel. The hotel presentation was excellent, staff were very well dressed, groomed and friendly. And .... Our meals were excellent! well done and Thankyou .

We dined here for lunch yesterday. We were the first to arrive at the restaurant for lunch and place our order, yet our order took 50mins to arrive. ish for a seafood basket that was so heavily battered and deep fried you couldn't even taste the seafood, no salt on the chips and they were pretty cold. The cheese and garlic bread would have been better if it was hot too, rather than luke warm. Scollop and pineapple tacos luckily were quite nice. Staff were friendly, but after on these meals we were pretty disappointed. We wouldn't return.

Clean and comfortable room, but it does have a good view of the river. The food downstairs is pretty good too
