Came down for Saturday lunch, the service was second to none, Helen was fantastic couldn't have done enough for us, shout out to Aleks about the best uncle comment to my daughter.
Two entries, garlic bread and wedges with sweet chilli sauce and sour cream came out first, then mains of bangers and mash with peas and gravy, chicken schnitzel and chips, butter chicken and rice, all were delicious, ending with a bowl of ice cream and the chocolate brownie for dessert.
Can't recommend the Vic Inn enough.

Thoroughly enjoyed a lovely lunch today, most impressed and sorry I hadn't been to this charming Hotel before, but that is going to change and I will spread the word to friends and family. Our Waiter, Bar Attendant and I would have to say Host, could not have been more helpful, Felt like I was in an old English Pub - see you soon and next time we will double up on the Prawn Spring Rolls,

What a great experience we had celebrating a birthday with family. Nothing was too much trouble, Helen was a particular stand out and really made our night so great. There were 35 of us and all of our meals were fantastic and we would not hesitate going back again. Thank you, Kerrie and Joe.

For a place that has to follow some rules, I found the old world atmosphere to be heartening. And Helen, our helper, was just a dream and such a character.

Sunday lunch was fantastic. Beautiful food great atmosphere and very reasonably priced. Great price on beer specials. The staff were more than accommodating when a large group of us just rocked up for drinks and food without a booking. Thanks to Paul, Alison & Hammond.

Just had lunch at this place, and our server for the day was Helen - she was fantastic, embodying exemplary customer service. She actively engaged with customers. I opted for the lamb roast, and it was outstanding - incredibly tender and seemingly slow-cooked for hours. The gravy was delightful, and the generous portion of vegetables complemented the dish perfectly. My friend tried the crispy skin salmon and found it delicious. The prawn spring rolls were the standout item. The prices are surprisingly affordable - $20 for the roast and $27 for the salmon. I highly recommend this place for a budget-friendly yet high-quality meal. I'll definitely return.

Amazing service from the front of house staff. Special shout out to Helen for making us feel so welcome. Food was amazing was the best schnitzel I've had in a while. Comfy and cozy atmosphere too!

Great standard pub fare done very well. What was the last time you saw lambs fry and bacon on a pub menu? Well the have it here and it is done very nicely. Pensioners' specials make dinner here affordable as well as hearty and tasty. Staff are great and very helpful.

We were lucky to find this little gem. Not only did they accommodate our rather large group at short notice, they were so lovely to us all and the meals we all received were absolutely amazing.
Would highly recommend this hotel for a meal to anyone who is lucky to find themselves in the area.

We are always feeling so welcomed at the Victoria Inn by the lovely Helen. I have never received customer service like this. She delivers fantastic customer service.

The food is great, there is always a nice selection on the menu. It always comes out on time and great quality.

The venue is kept very clean and tidy. Helen is fantastic as she is so on point, and attentive to everything. We will keep coming back here.

Food all tastes like it is boiled, 300g rump steak doesn't even look like a rump and is definitively not 300g, Parma is abysmal and the bangers and mash is all one texture. Not to mention everything coming with frozen vegetables

Not a bad local Pub. Frequented predominately by locals.......Nice, friendly, helpful and courteous staff (mostly). Kitchen not bad. Lets see if they comply with the QR code entry requirements after this lockdown.

Great place friendly staff and locals and impressive shadows in the main bar area on a sunny day before 1pm.Get down there on a Friday for the "Joker Poker" give away ( 5-6:30), which a chance to win the weekly jackpot and concludes with an impressive meat tray from 'The Butchers Club" In Williamstown.Post COVID Lockdown Review- Things are sort of "back to normal" at Vic Inn. Obviously some changes to support physical /social distancing requirements. Now if only all customers entering would sign in using the Vic Gov COVID App *and* the staff would check that everyone has done so.....that would be good. New menu very good in my opinion. Highlights on menu: Steak Sandwich, Seafood Linguine and Roast of the Day. Sadly the fun of the Friday Night Joker Poker is no more. Staff say it an "unnecessary added expense" after lockdown. A real shame, as it always fostered a good vibe on a Friday and got the customers together in a festive manner. Maybe the management will change its mind later in the year. Hope so.

Wow, talk about friendly, as soon as you walk in the door the greeting is so warm and friendly. Also the lady behind the bar kept us informed as to the status of our food order. Most importantly there were enough people behind the bar so that you didn't have to queue. Get yourself down here.

The Victoria Inn is absolutely one of the best pubs in Williamstown and maybe even Melbourne.Its warm and friendly and the staff are so caring and fun and lovely, especially the dashing Geoff and beautiful Helen. Theres a real family feel the moment you step in.Food is honest and delicious and always served with generous portions.Great location too!Stop by on your way to the beach for a cold summer beer!

Friendly staff. The food came out in prompt time. Very good service. The seating and eating area was spacious and comfortable.

I ordered the Scotch Fillet 250g, Chicken Parmagiana, Stir-Fry Chilli Garlic Chicken, and two Cheese Burger and Chips.

The Scotch Fillet was very good, but I believe it could have been served with more potatoes and vegetables. The Chicken Parmagiana was average. The Stir-Fry Chilli Garlic Chicken was good. The chicken portions were excellent, and the chilli was just right. The Cheese Burger and Chips meals were below average. I wasn't impressed with the patty in the burger's. It didn't taste the best, and it should have been better.

There was Free Wifi in the restaurant and a restroom.
