We had a great time at the tavern watching the sunset. I appreciated that there were kids meals and some great food options. The fresh seafood was amazing and the portion sizes were great. It would have been 5 stars except there were no jugs of drinks available and not a lot of options for kids drinks to go with the meals.
Council is doing some construction work at the moment so a large area is fenced off so to watch the sunset clearly you need to leave the beer garden area.

This Tavern describes itself as pet friendly but instead banishes dogs and owners to a tiny fenced off area/corner (shared with smokers which we are not and neither are our dogs). At this time the area was directly adjacent to significant external Shire works using heavy digging machinery undertaking excavation work that was extremely noisy, giving off fumes and dust. The rest of the large outdoor area was almost empty. We asked the bar staff about dog friendly areas and were told to go to the smelly noisy corner despite the current obvious disruption. Needless to say we did not stay for food as was our reason for visiting. NOT PET FRIENDLY

Just had an amazing meal here and enjoyed every bite! Crocodile Spring Rolls, Natural Oysters, Rump Steak and the Seafood Linguine... Hubby and I would definitely recommend a sunset dinner here. The Staff were friendly and efficient, the meals came out quick and hot 😀 Loved it. Well done Sunset Tavern 😀🍻🥂
