Great customer service! Particularly Archie, he was outstanding. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed during and after our dinner. Such an asset to the RUC! Couldn't be happier with my experience at the one and only RUC turner. The employees delivered exceptional service, going above and beyond, not to mention serving up incredible food and drinks. I had a spectacular night and will be returning for more fun in the future! Shout out to a young girl Josephine behind the bar who introduced me to the ginger beer on tap at the RUC which has since become an all time fav and now my go to drink. Cheers to many more nights at the RUC!

Attended a social gathering with friends and had an amazing night. Food was great and had great service by the staff there.

I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at the RUC due to the great atmosphere, wonderful service and attentive staff. I would like to highlight in particular the well-mannered and highly engaged Daisy, who went above and beyond in her service to our large table. I will most definitely be returning, hopefully pretty Daisy will be working on my next visit, however even if not, I am sure she has adequately inspired her co-workers to reach the same level of service as herself. Food is so bad lol. Cauliflower Popcorn was burnt and also soggy? Cheese burger was dry inside. $14.9 for chips too?

Fun for bowls and drinks but avoid the food.

A popular little club just out of the city. Friendly staff serving a good range of drinks. Tables can be booked in the restaurant which serves typical club fare. Not many real vegetarian options. The menu advertises 4 lunch specials but does not stipulate that these are only weekday offerings. 😢. The meals are available for Saturday lunch, but at evening prices.

Nice place to sit and have a beer. Ordered a meat lovers pizza, was ok, but to be honest dominoes is better. They seemed to have issues with the table numbers not matching the orders, maybe they were having a bad day

Club has pretty good facilities. Prices are standard. Went for lunch. It was quiet but took longer than expected for food to arrive and was not hot.

Was once an incredible venue, now nice enough but lacks any character. Great for watching a game with plenty of screens around or playing a few ends, but make sure you pack your own picnic, the food is vastly over priced and underwhelming. Three dollars extra for a sauce to go with your small thirty dollar schnitty... says it all.

Smidge out of the way, but overall the venue makes up for the slightly out of the way location.

Great local but food a over priced for 'club grub'. Food was served very quickly by wonderful waiters/waitresses. All hosts were excellent. Diversity in kids meals non existent. Food was beige, and carb based only, which was disappointing.

We went there on a Monday night for a $15 steak deal. Steaks and fries came out cold after 20 min wait which was later communicated to a manager. The place was relatively empty so I'm not sure how did they let it happen.

The staff is bunch of kids who would take your food before you finish and mostly just chat and laugh behind the bar table. i feel some extra hospitality training would benefit the business.

It was very relaxed on a Tuesday lunchtime. The schnitzels were quite good and the service was top.

Had an amazing time while travelling from Perth to Canberra, a family friend invited us to dinner and we went to the bistro of the ruc.

Had dinner on a Friday night they had a power outage during our visit so was a little delay in food orders after their ordering system crashed and they had a blackout, i think the manager of bistro Winnie if i recall was absolutely awesome in handling the situation on what i remember was only her 3rd week on the job.
Lamb cutlets were absolutely divine, beef cheeks are to die for as well as the popcorn cauliflower and wings. If i could i would have taken your chef back to Perth with me to manage my clubs kitchen as well as the bistro manager win.

Great stuff Team. 100% worth it.

Apart from that, food was good. Soft drinks at $4.80 (in a small glass, not even a pint) are a bit of a rip.

Had the work Christmas party here recently and had a wonderful time! Staff were great, had a simple and easy system for having a tab and were happy to help with any questions. Busy, but still had a welcoming atmosphere.

Don't often say this about renovations but wow, what a huge improvement. The renovation is actually an asset to the place and it's a a great venue - well done. A few minor criticisms - the windows - seems to be a gale of bloody cold air blowing through them. Might want to take a second look at sealing them properly.
And I'm not sure about about the puke mustard carpet in the new TAB but generally a pretty solid venue.

Great value for members on their regular lunch or dinner options. Relaxing and chill location for a couple of drinks.

I don't usually write reviews but my girls and I went on Friday and it was flat out! We waited a while for the food but the team was amazing and made the experience so worth it, the bar staff were gorgeous as always and I tried a new beer that was recommended by one of the staff. Shout out as well to Daisy specifically who was so sweet and made sure we were looked after, she was so sincere! The wait time was an anomaly, always love the RUC!

I recommend the pulled pork burger and squid. I don't recommend the beef burger. The beef patty was overcooked. It was so and burnt

We were in recently and had the best time ever! Huge thanks to Anna who was super friendly and helpful with in the gaming lounge. She also gave us great beer and food recommendations - what a legend! Shout out to the managers Ned and I think maybe Jereme?? Met the guys briefly and you can really tell how passionate they are about customer service and providing an amazing experience. Awesome job all round team, we will be back!

Very busy place. A little pricey for its meals. Popular for meeting up. I am told there's specials and member's prices.

Enjoying the great service. Warm up beat staff.. Helpful towards tv program changes. To watch my sport. Great pair of pool tables. With nice view of the lawn bowls area. Close to city. Easy to Walk / Scooter / Bus / Uber.. Got every day happy hour 4pm till 5pm.. also 8pm till 9pm every night. Great deals for Food options on certain days. P.s try the slushy.

The steak wasn't the best, but difficult for me to complain about as it was on offer for only $12. A steak knife was required. No steak knives were available. Pool tables were level and in good working order.

Great place to unwind with friends after a hard day at work. Good variety of beer or cider on tap. Good size meals, nice and clean, well laid out, great bowling greens and friendly staff. High recommend and not to $$$

Had a booking for 12 people. Booked the day before. Turned up and they didn't have the booking. Ended up having to push several tables together to fit everyone. Poor signage and communication from staff regarding their ordering system. You can only order food from one computer, and drinks from another. Food overall is average. I recommend going with their daily specials. I ordered the $12 steak and chips. There wasn't too much flavour from the sauce, but the steak was cooked perfectly. If you want to save more money, sign up for their members program.
