After not being here for near on 10yrs due to a very poor experience I should have waited longer.
Besides leaving, the only other positive I can give was the older lady that took our lunch order. She was the only person observed or interacted with that showed any positivity in this place. The young waitress showed disinterest, annoyance and unprofessionalism. Delivering our meals by sliding the plates and sauces across the table to us instead of placing them down.
The stench throughout the venue was nauseating. When asked, I was informed it was "the plumbing and will be fixed tomorrow" and also "it's been like that for a while" from another staff member.

Honestly, THE most disappointing pub meal I have EVER had. Not only were we told we had already collected and eaten our garlic "toast" (which is LITERALLY 3 slices of toast, garlic butter, and a slice of cheese for $10), but the veggies, chips and scotch fillet were proper cold! The hottest part of the meal was the pepper gravy! It was ninety something dollars that I'll never get back! I work hard for my money and, especially in these times, to see it spent on such a let down of a meal, was very upsetting.., for the lack of a better word.
The staff were lovely, but I think they know that something has gone very horribly wrong here

Excellent food with a less than McDonald's atmosphere. (Except for the cheesy garlic toast - blah).
I had the Kiev and I was delighted that it was a real breast cooked well. The side chips were flavoured and delicious.
My daughter had lamb shanks and loved it. My other daughter had fettuccini Carbonara and enjoyed it. My son and his wife liked their parmos and they informed me the chicken was processed.
My wife had the chicken sweet corn soup and liked it, as well as her dim Sims, which were not from marathon.
The kids meals were cheap nuggets or pizza, but what do you expect from kid's meals?
As I mentioned earlier, don't buy the garlic toast. I could have made this at home.
I was not happy with the state of cleanliness as all you had to do was look at the ceiling... At some point, what goes up must come down.
My chief gripe was the fact there was only one register taking orders and a very long line.
However, kudos to the lovely gentleman at the entrance who rescued my grandson's sunglasses from the donation barrel.
This place could be so much better with a bit of TLC. Right now, I'd rather eat at a roadside diner.

Very tasty bistro meals.. served nice and quick which is great when you have hungry little mouths to feed. Very noisy when it is a full house and when they are cooking the air is very smokey.

Good cheap dinner. Bistro quality, a little noisy but to be expected for a Friday night during peak holiday season.

The food is ok but a bit overpriced. There was only one chef on the day we went so the waiting time is more than an hour. The staff was quite friendly though.

Haven't been here for a while but I must say it has much improved.. service was friendly food came quick and was absolutely amazing.. highly recommend.

Food was very disappointing. Beef seemed old and stewed in a Thai Beef Salad. I wasn't even sure it was safe. Gave up and set aside.
Other party's fish meal was OK but not brilliant.
Atmosphere was spoiled by incessant prize announcements.
Poor overall experience. Back to the pub next time. Far superior in every way.

Lunch for 6 of us was amazing! Each person on our table ordered something different and each meal was great! The day we went there was only Chinese menu but we definately weren't disappointed..

Have eaten here twice now during our holiday stay.. Absolutely beautiful meals both times.. Will be back one more time before we have to leave .. Highly recommend.. Staff are very friendly.. Meals are a generous size.

Highly recommend visiting, from the moment my husband and I walk in we were greeted with warmth and friendliness. The barmaid her warmth, and kindness was amazing. One of our meals came out quite late, however we were given two extra entrees for the time wait. It was the member Easter raffle being drawn tonight, one of the amazing members won it, and handed it to us to take home for our kids.
Definitely couldn't recommend the hospitality enough.

Great and very filling meals. There is two different menus and there is more on the Asian menu. I think Mondays is Western menu only, while Tuesday is Asian menu only. Other days has both menus.

I ordered the Hokkien Noodles while my Pop ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. They were great meals.

Good food with selection of Chinese or European it feels like a food court in a shopping centre. Has a tab and pokies.

Really nice prawns with veg. My husband said his satay chicken was also nice. Ordered cheesy garlic bread, would have been better if it was made on something other than square white sliced bread, seemed really cheap, even sliced Vienna bread or cut up French stick would have been better. Liked the fact we didn't have a reservation but they still accommodated us. Will eat there again.

Chinese night we had satay chicken entree followed by me having sweat and sour pork and her having Mongolian beef Bit pricey ( nonmembers cost) but well worth it. Meat tender and sauces tasty. Service you couldn't complain. Fast and efficient Well done

This place is a must for dinner - if you enjoy Asian food. They also serve western pub food, but we ate Asian and just loved it so went back a second time to order something different. Just as good the second night. Prices reasonable and the drinks were very cheap. Staff friendly, service good.

Food is amazing!! we had the pork belly rice & pasta.

Lady on entry was formal in the sense of checking vaccinations.

Only 3 stars as I personally felt pressured to become a member, my partner became a full member and to be honest I didn't really need to get it... however, all together is was only $15.

Very club style vibe. However, would defiantly go back as the meals were amazing.

Where do I start
Their menu boards were hard to see and wasn't easy getting to the counter to order food due to where people line up to be seated. The security guard was bagging out a patron to me very unprofessional. out of so many empty tables we were sat in a corner where it was freezing cold.
My honey chicken tasted like butter instead of honey. $80 later and we walked out very disappointed and still very hungry

Where to start normally I don't write poor reviews, the positive is that the food was acceptable. negatives: it took over an hour to receive our order (and we had prebooked to avoid any issues etc), staff were very apologetic in words only, no action was taken or made to address any of our concerns - most of the bistro patrons had left before we received our meals (we were the first to arrive as we wanted to avoid this issue due to having children). My advice to anyone considering eating here is to go somewhere else (anywhere else, lakes entrance has some wonderful eating establishments that greatly deserve your money rather than this atrocity). If you have kids do not eat here ... I cannot emphasise this enough.. if you have kids do not eat here

Had to wait over an hour for our food. People that came in after us were served before us. Our kids were starved by the time their food actually arrived. It only arrived asked we asked 3 times where it was. Many better places to eat in town.

Have been here quite a number of times and it has never disappointed. Perfect meals everytime with super helpful friendly staff. Could not recommend higher!

Why eat home when the staff here give great family service besides the food is A1. Of course grandson spilt his water at table and staff was quicker than us to help us tidy up.

Good tasting food, although had run out of pizza on the night. Queue was very long to order (needs two order takers). Limited tap beer selection.
