Perfect location on the port with great views on the water, love the lights from the lighthouse and the bridge across the water, food is brilliant with good ol efficient service.

Catered for myself and 25 other people without a function room and were so nice and welcoming to our whole table. Came up and asked if we had enough seats and we're all comfortable. Food was amazing, as per usual. Also catered to dietary requirements - my mum is coeliac and never had a flare up after eating here.

Well what can I say about this venue. It was top notch. Absolutely amazing menu and variety is just what everyone wants. So much to choose from. Absolutely delicious food served by lovely staff. Great job. From the moment we walked in to being shown our table to a fabulous evening then leaving for home. It was amazing. A memorable evening to repeat at a latter date. Just the best.

Absolutely AMAZING!! Have come here with my hubby for my birthday lunch on a tuesday and although it is very busy, the staff are very efficient and nice. The food is so tasty, well priced and very generous portions.
bar staff are so nice, Rachel is great!

100% recommend to everyone, and we will definitely be back regularly!!

Finally got to check out all the good feedback friends and family have shared about this pub.
Less is more, it's great, just get here!
The pictured ribs were great and plentiful (had to take some home!), and less that for Seniors.
Same for the schnitty, excellent value.

On Monday through Sunday, The Birkenhead Tavern is open from 9 AM until 2 AM the following morning.
