We spent two nights at the Tantanoola RV Park and it ticked all the boxes - clean toilets, a dump point, kids' play equipment, and a great enclosed BBQ area. The stay is donation-based, payable at the post office, which makes it even better.

Trying country pubs in regional SA and very pleasantly surprised. Good meal, clean and tidy, good service. Keep supporting these small pubs, we will be back again one day.

it was a group of 10 for lunch the chicken meals were fine but the burger, beef schnitzels and this poor excuse for a curry were another matter. There were 2 beef schnitzels served that were inedible, when a complaint was made it was not believed by the lady who basically called them liars and then made the astonishing claim that both she and the chef had tasted the beef and considered it ok, but you could smell that the beef was not fresh and fit to eat, no apology or consideration was made to the customer very unprofessional. Now the burger was ok but the bun was soggy and the patty cold, on to the curry which was a cesspool of fat and was disgusting, my husband only had some of the rice and small piece of the lamb when he went outside to throw it up. I tried some of the lamb and it was totally full of fat and so chewy could not eat it, did not bother complaining after seeing how the others were treated we finished our drinks and left. It was totally disappointing as it had been recommended by a friend who felt so bad as it was our first and obviously going to our last. Also its a telling tale when the lady we complained to was seen eating McDonalds behind the bar rather than the pub food.

My partner and I decided to go out to their pub for a dinner. the place was homely designed which we found quite cute. We decided to order the gluten free potato wedges from the thoughtful gluten free crafted menu and a dozen oysters to share. the oysters were slightly warm which had worried us although were absolutely delicious and fresh. the wedges came slightly over cooked although as an entree they were very generous with their quantity which we really appreciated. after our entrees my partner and I ordered the beef cheek and a gluten free seafood marinara pizza, both $30 each but definitely worth their price. both mains were delicious, the beef cheek was greatly tender and the quanity was generous, while the sea food pizza came with various different high quality seafood like octopus, prawn, squid, mussels, all fresh, the pizza was very greasy but definitely worth the price.
