Nice meals and humble staff. We tried Feast from the Ocean and a Burger. Both were excellent. We visit whenever we are in town.

Lovely pub. The meals cannot be recommended by our experience. The teriyaki chicken with fried rice looked ok, but the chicken peices were hard, dry and old. We believe they have been cooked at least 2 or 3 times. The rice was ok but could do with some soy sauce or some other to moisten it. On complaining we were told that he would tell the cook!

I had dinner last night, Wed, at the Bistro, the menu specialized in Asian main courses but I ordered rump steak, med rare. It was presented well done and as tough as I have ever encountered. I couldn't eat it. I told the staff that it was not satisfactory and their response was a 'shrug'. Be warned, the Asian meals were fine but steer clear of steak!!

The food at the restaurant is rather expensive. And small serves.

on the 14th April 2023 4 lady friends and I had lunch at the thai restaurant at the hotel. We all ordered main meals and I ordered starters and a friend ordered chips. The waitress was lovely but the food was terrible. They were late to open too. Dont have the Braised pork and rice it was meat dry and the rendered skin and fat tasted very odd. No it did not have a tasty sauce sauce it should have been braised in or at least over it on serving. The rice was gluggy and my prawn spring rolls were frozen on the inside and the dipping sauce highly watered down. The pad thai was in a tiny bowl with rice on the side and the serve of the satays was small with a very liquid very chilli sauce over the top. The restaurant was not busy only 2 other tables of 2 people on each no excuse for a dry , minuscule, tasteless meal.
Now the other issue was the bar that serves the poker machine people and the food area was run by a older woman with shortish blond hair. On arrival we I waited 10 mins for a scotch and coke no sign of any staff until I called out for the 3 rd time and she came from an office. My 2 friends who had come with me then went up to order coffee and the woman had disappeared again my friend called, looked in the poker machine room and on coming back saw the woman in the office again. Our other 2 friends arrived and yes the woman was missing in action again our friends then went to call down the hall to the office for drinks. I later went to get a lemon lime and bitters and there were 2 people on the poker machine side waiting for drinks and poker machine change or chips or something. This woman at lunch time kept going missing and was very short and rude to our table a young couple who walked in then left after just a drink and to the elderly couple who wanted wine with their lunch. I really think that the owners need to get the old bistro back in action with real pub food and get some nice well mannered staff who can be bothered looking after customers. I d just like to say that several locals we spoke to said they never would go to that pub again.

Smells like your grandmother's house. Tastes like your grandmother's house. Beer was off. Staff unfriendly and blasting TV shows for their own entertainment rather than music for customers. Restaurant closed for meals and bathrooms smelt like cigarettes.

Friendly staff. No cheap beer there though.

Not bad reasonable food

New owners I think... The meat was good, but there was no vegetables in sight... also there was an incident with some questionable chicken, but it was replaced and that tasted good.

IF I Could there Would Be ONLY Half star! NO RECOMMENDATIONS from Our Family!!! 1,000 times VERY DISAPPOINTED with Meals Presented to Us, Especially on MOTHERS DAY! Young Staff Require PROPER Training, Congratulate them though with THEIR Manners & Etiquette!!!

Update your website .... No playground as advertised for the kids Just wanted a steak or schnitzel but . NO .. Chinese food was nice but again not as advertised on their web page.

Looking forward to a pub lunch.....but NO Quik Stix Chinese instead, so yummy.

The Chinese night is pretty good value for money. Good variety. Well presented. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Went for all you can eat Chinese buffet on the 16/11/19. First the table reserved for us had a dead fly on it. Then the buffet was empty (this was at 7:30pm) when we asked for more food they did not make any more, others that paid after us had barely had anything to eat. Staff were quite rude for no reason at all. One waitress even shoved food in her mouth with her hands while packing up the buffet right in front of customers. Will never return and our friends who live locally will not either.

Plesently surprised they run a Chinese restaurant out of there. Food lovely, large serves,fast friendly service.

Went for a evening meal good value. Staff where nice and plenty of food in the salud bar .

The food was great, the prices fantastic, atmosphere was wonderful. It is disappointing the playground for children has been closed and this is the reason it didn't get 5 stars.
