4 of us meet every 2 months or so and food usually good. We ordered the Spinach pie, the pie was a small triangle, we got horrible lumpy mash which was half the size of the plate, not the lemon and dill potatoes as on the menu, and the Greek salad had 2 olives and 2 pieces of feta. It was the worse meal we have had there. Still hungry.

We have been here for a meal twice before and it has been fantastic however this last time it was absolutely terrible.
$115 for 4 adult meals which is fine however the quality of food has gone down hill since the new chef.
The Parma was a store brought Parma, Prawns were wrapped in dry fried noodles nearly inedible, Moroccan lamb was tough and dry and our cheese burger was raw.

Really disappointing considering we liked this place. We won't be back.

⚠️Vegan Warning - Unfortunately, they only have one vegan option on the menu and it's a side dish. Only found out after explaining there were a number of vegans on our table when booking and nothing was said. They used to have some vegan mains but they've all gone.

We've started going here regularly, mostly having a Seniors meal. Staff are always friendly, special offers they have now and again are great and portion size is perfect for Seniors. We've tried most of the options and enjoyed them all! Good value, reliable and relaxing.

We are regular patrons to Club Sunbury and I must say our visit yesterday deserved the five stars. Both the Bistro and Bar Staff were very Professional and made our day enjoyable. Thanks to All.

Went there on Sunday 20/08 at around 1pm. Was in the gaming room. My mobile phone needed charging, so I asked the woman employee who was in her 50s or 60s if she could kindly connect it to a charger. Even though I had the phone charger cord, she immediately said no, and made up something about me needing the plug, even though she didn't bother to look whether she had one (I'm sure there would have been a plug, but she could obviously see I only had the cord for the phone but not the plug, so she made up that excuse to say no). Her whole demeanour was unwelcoming and unhelpful, and lacks proper customer service. Just because I look like someone who is from a non-English speaking background, it doesn't mean you should be unhelpful. I genuinely needed my phone charged. It's not hard to be nice to people and to be helpful. It's appalling how unwelcoming and unhelpful she was, and she clearly doesn't understand or even care for the importance of proper customer service or repeat business. Don't know what she's doing there in the first place. She's probably even a supervisor or manager. Makes me wonder how people like that get their jobs in the first place. Lost me as a customer, not going back there again

Lovely venue. Staff are great. Food is yummy, I had seniors meal. I have been there several times.

This bowls club discriminate against people who cannot eat their small bowl of roast veggies I paid for. They refuse to sell you a take away container. I explained the soup was like a bucket and couldn't have it and I didn't touch my side of veggies with mushroom gravy...
Don't eat at this restaurant, service is not about cooking and serving it, it also means hod customer service and value for your money. Totally disgusted. RIP off venue. Of I could give Zero I would

We had my Grandsons 1st birthday party yesterday ( 18-06-23)..
The venue and the customer service was outstanding..
The food was delicious 🤤..
We were able to hire the bowling green for the kids to play on also..
I would highly recommend this venue..

Food has no taste. Poor selection of vegetables: potatoes/mash, carrot, broccoli, green beans and cauliflower - only 3 per dish
Frintbof House staff are lovely and friendly. Meals take very long to come out, even though dining in Bistro. $18 for seniors, large serve, but no takeaway.

We had a family lunch yesterday 5 adults and a child. The food was great, my steak was perfect and everyone enjoyed their meal. The calamari was a bit anemic but was very tender.
I was very pleased to see they have updated their wines since our last visit, there is a much better selection now.

Friendly staff, good ambience, clean, great food portions. We ordered one meal each and were given beverage stabs with a choice of drinks, except for wines at the bar. Food is delicious, the Wagyu Scotch fillet is excellent and so is the burger wagyu. For me the chicken in the buttered chicken is a bit dry but tastes good. The price is alright for the serving, we did not wait long for the food as it was not busy when we were there for lunch.

My father Peter loved this club. The facilities are great, wonderful food, great drink prices. The lawn bowls area is really nice and the large screens to watch the footie are awesome.

Dinner Monday night. Disappointing to say the least .
Seniors roast, one thin grey slice of lamb and tired vegetables.
Grandson. $41 for a scotch fillet, cooked perfectly. Served with chips and the most disgusting excuse for a salad .
Young staff were excellent.
No feedback on my complaint re the Salad.
Better places to go to I suggest .

Watched some lawn bowls, and then I had lunch.
Had a Mild Beef Korma for lunch and it was great. There was actual heat in this dish and to a mild standard, just like the menu said. It was a pleasant surprise as I have had Korma's in the past from other places with no heat at all.
Pleasent atmosphere for eating and relaxing. It's definitely worth coming in for lunch/tea or a break from the heat

I have been to the bowls club many times with family and we all enjoy the experience. The food is top quality at a reasonable price. The customer service is the best and the atmosphere is pleasant. Couldn't as for more.

We had your Christmas meal today . Turkey will the the trimmings , Christmas pudding with custard and a glass of wine $35 - great value .
Our table of 15 had a great day . Wonderful service !!

Went for a barefoot bowls party with friends. It was a good venue, the games were ordered and well supervised. A small bar offered a reasonable range of drinks fir sale. The party food platters were a bit expensive.

The old ladies behind the bar get cranky at the customers, they need to cheer up and learn about customer service.

The family go there a bit for food, but I'm not sure why as the food is often average at best.

Convenient eating place with lots of parking.
Service is very good, while the food is basic but filling. Mind you the side salad had one slice of soggy tomato which was disappointing. We use it as a place to catch up with Melbourne friends and family. They have gluten free food which is great.

Great meals (Seniors too!) Tuesday is Steak night. Lovely service and helpful regarding menu options. The Bistro is large and caters well for groups.

Went for lunch at Club Sunbury on Wednesday first time in bistro area.

Meals are a good size. Was very busy for a midweek lunchtime. Staff very friendly and very informative. Not badly priced for what we got. I got normal fish n chips (pictured) other person got seniors. Difference I received 3 pces they received 2.

Apparently new chef was on, very impressed with presentation and taste.

Staff was absolutely delightful and polite. Service was 10 out of 10.
The place is nice and comfortable with easy access to people with disabilities. Today was steak night and it has been a long time that we have ate such a beautifully done steak. Chips were fresh, salad is generous and varied, steak was indeed 250 plus grams, perfectly done as requested and with that flame grill taste! What a beautiful meal.

Wednesday parma night, variety of toppings, I had a regular $18 good value.

Had Sunday lunch there. Food was good, staff pleasant, outlook OK, dining room well appointed.

Went online to look at menu before arriving, unfortunately when we got there they provided us with a limited menu.
Whilst I completely understand the use of a limited menu, they really should put this on their website or at least a note saying the the menu is different but there is nothing mentioned.
We had our child with us and unfortunately they didn't have what we were going to get them, nor did they have the items we were going to get.
It put a bit of a damper on our evening.
The food we did get however was lovely and couldn't fault the service and drinks.
They just need to be a bit more upfront with their menu.

Came here for a 30th birthday. Nothing but rude service the whole night. They basically made us feel like we needed to leave even after $1000 bar tab was put down by the host. Staff just want to not have to work, and just want there usual clientele and not a 30th birthday as its too much effort seriously disgusted with bar staffs attitude towards the whole group.

Our community bowls team hired some space to play a few games of lawn bowls at Sunbury bowling club and were delighted to see such a wonderful venue. The artificial greens were totally covered which makes for comfortable all year round bowls. The staff around the venue were helpful and friendly. The greens are surrounded by a variety of seating upstairs where you could grab something nice to eat overlooking the game. The TAB machines were available to place a bet and large screens showing all sorts of sports adorned the walls. This made for a fun day out with plenty to occupy. There are pokies there but I didnt wonder in. The meals were tasty and menu great for a club. Very impressive compared to my local. A great place to go even if your not that into bowls

Had such a fun day here yesterday. We bowled for one hour, had lunch in the bistro, delicious, and then bowled for one more hour. A great way to spend the day. Thanks Felicity, Vanessa and Liam.

Fantastic, held a memorial service in function room, the staff were very professional and so helpful I would highly recommend if your looking for a venue

Great food. Coffee could be hotter, just warm is not my favourite.
