We visited here again last night. (3/8/24).

We are pleased to share our experience again. Everything is still great here. Our steaks were delicious! Juicey and perfectly cooked. Very friendly staff.

We only had one "complaint", if it could be called that,... they didn't have the red velvet cake this time. Oh no. We were devastated.! Never mind, the warm chocolate brownie and Ferrero flavoured cheesecake desserts made up for it.

We really liked our experience here.

Very friendly greetings, clean, tidy, bright and comfortable seating.

We started with the cheesy, bacon and garlic bread for starters. Yummy.

Then we had the Chicken and Mushroom Scallopini and also the Creamy Garlic Prawns.

The Chicken and Mushroom Scallopini was awesome delicious. Served with bright green steamed broccolini on a bed of mash. Yummy.

Unfortunately, on this occasion, in our opinion, the garlic and seasoning seemed a little bit underdone with the Creamy Garlic Prawns dish. The prawns were very yummy, delicious and fresh. But the creamy sauce was a little bit under seasoned and didn't seem to have any garlic ... but that may be because we are accustomed to a good strong garlic kick when we order it.

We also tried the Red Velvet cake. Wow. Wow. We ordered one serve to share between the two of us. I can honestly say that we still regret to this moment that we didn't order two serves! Really!

We really liked our experience here, and we intend to return again, regularly.

We highly recommend visiting here, especially during a lunch time, as we did.

Ordered Christmas in July Roast. Most horrible pumpkin soup. Oily & didn't taste like it's pumpkin soup. Roast meat supposed to be 3 types. Not really. Dried up roast carrots. Pale looking one thin sliced supposed to be roast pumpkin. Potatoes boiled not roasted. Pudding tasted like taken out of a commercially ordered box.
So disappointing. Pictures showed how good it should be. Terrible meal for $31.
You need a chef who pride himself in the food he serve.
Years ago we used to visit it regularly. We stopped after the renovation as food was not good.
Thought would give it another go. How disappointing. Just need to lift your game up. Care more for what you serve.

Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. Food was on point and a great price. Didn't have the coffee personally but the feedback from the group was that it was excellent.

I recently had a disappointing experience with the oysters at this restaurant. Initially told they were sold out, then offered 24, and ultimately only receiving 15 - the whole ordeal was quite frustrating. When they did finally arrive, they were overcooked and topped with barbecue sauce, which was very unappetizing. On a positive note, the Duck spring rolls and Aaron Cheney balls were delicious, and the restaurant did remove them from the bill due to the confusion. Overall, I was dissatisfied with the oysters but pleased with the service recovery.

Good sized restaurant. Pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very good service. Meals were reasonably priced with a good variety of options on the menu. Kids playing facility near meals area. Good place to go for all.

Food was delicious 😋 l had the lamb salad and hubby had the beer battered fish and chips. Service was good and friendly. Definitely will go back again 😊

Staff were so friendly and helpful. I had just arrived after hiking for five hours so I was famished at 3pm, so happy they have all day kitchen! the cheeseburger was excellent ??'?

We had 6 adults and 4 kids on our table on Saturday night. It was busy but we ordered at about 6:40pm and there was no suggestion of an extended wait time for meals. 3 kids ordered from the kids menu and received them after about half an hour. However, the tomato sauce was missing which took three times asking, and 20mins to get it brought out. The other child ordered a bowl of chips and something from the starters menu which didn't get served until AFTER all the adult's main meals came out. These meals took over an hour and we weren't advised it was going to be this long until we started asking when our meals would come. The meals were mostly fine but the Coleslaw that came with my parma was completely drowned in mayo/dressing and was disgusting.

Excellent variety on the menu and a really good vibe for a Friday work lunch. Food came out and very well presented and was extremely nice. Great prices and staff were great. Definitely recommend to others. Will return next time I am in the area.

Meal was really good, stoneys burger (delicious). However, would probably appreciate the waitress we had for the night not asking us to stack the plates and glasses for her... I'm pretty sure she gets paid to do that? Maybe not though.

Our go-to in Bacchus Marsh. Kids love the playground, Dad (me) loves the members drink specials and the food is also great. Can be an expensive day/night but understandable in these times of higher food costs and utility prices.

Poor bar service. Bar staff prioritise regulars over those who are next in line. I had a staff member prioritise 3 regulars before me, even though I was next inline. All I got told was hold on.
The regulars weren't impressed about themselves jumping the que in passing coversation.
It appears the common bar courtesy of serve next inline does not apply to me here.

Ordered 2 parmas, most disgusting thing we have ever ordered from a restaurant. Parma and chips highly over cooked, mushroom gravy sauce was average at best, coleslaw was nice. Don't ever think we will be back for anything here. 4 adults 1 toddler at a cost of $170 between us, not good. Service from the lady's was great tho.

Amazing food, great deals, lovely dinning area and the service was prompt. Half price Parmas, Fish and Chips, Calamari and Burgers on Thurs. Good value, decent quality and portions.

We were a weekly regular and loved the menu. It was simple but all the options ( besides the burger) were great! For a pub they even served a curry which is rare to see in a pub. My partner always raved on about how good the steak was, also the veggies they served which meals were so good!! But in the last 2 weeks we noticed a big changed. The steak prices rose by 40% they completely changed the menu over. They took veggies off the menu and said they only serve it with the roast now. And they serve meals with coleslaw...... going into winter soon this was a terrible move.
We spoke to management and they told us menus were changed from higher up. Obviously the owners have no clue. But as a regular in Bacchus marsh and with minimal pubs to go too we are now having to look outside of the area. Ballarat here we come.

Such a shame.

Bring back the original menu and you'll bring back your regulars.

Everything was fantastic, speed, friendly staff, food and we have dined here quiet a few times. The new menu looks great, so why is there 3 stars, quite disappointed with the lack of dessert options, only 2! We asked if we could get pavlova that's on seniors meal nope! Surely you can serve what ever is on menu as you have it in stock. Not even ice cream. So while our mum ate pavlova, we sat and watched her... please common sense to change this. Then we would give 5 ⭐️

Absolutely loved our dinner tonight. Good was delicious - especially the sticky date pudding. The staff were exceptional - very friendly, very helpful and great service.

Sue is a star. Warm bubbly and made sure we were more than looked after. Food was delish. Outside bar area lovely and pet friendly. Our pup loved it too!

Delicious food but extremely rude staff.
We were a party of 6 at 4.00pm and wanted to sit near the play ground to watch our 4 year old and 21 month grandson.
We were told that the tables have been set for the evening.
We could only sit at table 12 which was not set.
We ordered 6 starters and side meals and 6 drinks.
When the food came out we were not given knives or forks or napkins.
The staff Maddy and Sue frowned at us the entire time.
They constantly spoke rudely to our grandchildren.
DID I MENTION IT WAS 4 O'clock AND WE WERE THE ONLY PEOPLE IN THERE.

At 5.30 we were told we had to leave because the table was booked for 6.00.

Food was delicious 😋. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. We recommend??'? that this is an awesome place for anyone to enjoy food with friend's and family ??'?

We booked a large group at Stoneys last minute due to the weather wrecking other plans that we had.

All the staff were super accommodating and when more people arrived then what we had initially booked for the staff members were more then happy to give us extra tables and chairs for them.

Everyone's food and drink came out exceptionally fast and tasted just as good.

All the staff here were amazing, and hopefully the owner/manager/boss can acknowledge this and reward them for there hard work.

Will 100% book here again.

I can't believe the amount they charge for the tale always meals quite joke honestly to pay so much and only get a half portion will not be returning. Also there online take away menu needs alot of work and has very limited items on it staff super friendly tho so still some bonuses

Greeted by friendly staff who made an effort to accommodate us even without a booking.
We didn't get them at their best as the stove had broken down on the night of our visit which meant that many of the meal options were not available. I imagine that if this hadn't been the case the food prep times would have been quicker and more options.
That being said, the team did well with what they had available and the schnitzel was good as we're the wedges.
Would have liked to see something other than football, keno, dog and harness races on the tv in the bistro area but it meant that there were less distractions to the family conversation.

Poterhouse steak 300g with sald & chips $39. Nice place to chill with mate.

The food was good and a reasonable price big bistro. The waitress was attentive although she did forget our drinks but, another one soon remedied that. A nice place to eat then kick back and chat over a drink or two.

Chicken parma is amazing and enough to feed a small army. Recommended if you are really hungry. Friendly staff as well

The family likes this place,The meal is very delicious, it would be perfect if you can eat the leftovers and take away.

Great service and very friendly staff. The food was well priced at $45 for two mains and some soft drink. In saying that it was a little bland and required salt, my son had the fish and chips and being the fussy eater he is, was put off by the fish as it had skin on it.
