A group of us from the motorcycle club stayed at this charming old hotel for a Saturday night. It's well-maintained and clean, though the single rooms upstairs use shared facilities, which were tidy and functional. The communal lounge with TV, fridge, and coffee/tea was a nice touch. My only small gripe was the bed was a bit too soft for my liking.

Check-in came with a free drink voucher, and the bar/lounge area was cozy with a great vibe. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, setting up a long table just for our group. I had the chicken parmi with pepper sauce, which was delicious.

The next morning, I accidentally left my phone charger behind. I emailed Bec, who had handled our booking, and she not only retrieved it but also sent it back to me free of charge. Fantastic service from the whole team. I highly recommend staying here to experience their wonderful hospitality.

A pretty cool country pub. The service was very friendly and although I didn't get what I ordered it was still delicious and a great meal. I did find it strange that for some reason you couldn't eat outside as it was a smoking area?? In saying that aswell, seating inside was limited for meals unless you sat in the bar area.
I'd come back again, it is a nice break here 😀

We travelled from Bribane once again to Texas with friends. The meals were divine and the staff were delightful. Nice friendly patrons and even a selection of Pokies. We thoroughly enjoyed Texas.

Good clean value for money overnight location.
Due to late booking we were offered an upstairs room, beds OK and comfortable.

Stopped for a much needed lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent service and delicious food. Bathrooms clean, which is a must! Should have taken photos, highly recommended by all the family.

The only place in town that does food. Which was good because it was worth it. We stayed here as part of a multi day bike ride. The staff were very accommodating. We booked out all the rooms and some across the road. Good place to stop and visit on the way through town

The food was excellent. The lady working at the bar could have been more pleasant. Customers don't like being ignored.

Food and drinks are good at a reasonable price. Rooms are ok for the price BUT if you're looking for a good night's sleep with peace and quiet this is not the place for you. Rowdy drunks right outside until closing time then we had workmen hammering at 7am. We couldn't wait to leave.

Very nice meal at the bistro in the Stockman Hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was very good, good size servings. Salads nice and fresh. If you're in the area, call in for a meal.

I am a local, so, I don't have much experience with the rooms here. I am sure they would be immaculate, based on my experiences with the rest of the hotel.

What I will say, is that the food here is amazing. Possibly the best pub food I've had anywhere.
I highly recommend stopping into the restaurant; it will be well worth your time. ^.^

Hubby loved his steak, prawns and calamari but my buffalo wings were the tiniest chicken wings I have ever seen.

We stopped by for lunch. Pleasant staff, great tucker from a reasonable menu.
And cold beer all at a reasonable price.

It's a motorcyclist friendly pub in the middle of a quaint country town . Reasonable at $60 for a single , basic but clean overnight accommodation , town has a museum , bowls club and golf course but hopefully the tennis courts will be up and running soon .

I arrived in Texas by sheer luck, the floods prevented me from travelling any further & I couldn't have landed a better spot. Amazing people, unreal food, a landscape to die for & an experience of a lifetime. Could not recommend staying at the Stockman Hotel more highly, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Texas QLD you've made my trip.

An awesome biker friendly pub, great atmosphere, food and hospitality. The downstairs rooms are great, you park out the front of your room and under cover. The staff are friendly and accommodating (even though we were a little rowdy). Highly recommended.

Love this country pub. The crew and the owner are excellent. Sure it's not 5 star accommodation it's a country pub what do you expect. Food is good. What else to say. Go give them a go.

We celebrated our 43rd Wedding anniversary in the same dining room that we celebrated our wedding breakfast in. When we were taken to our reserved table there was a homemade sign wishing us "Happy Anniversary". How wonderful is that! Meal was excellent - steak and vegetables cooked to perfection. Staff were happy and helpful. Thank you.

The food was excellent! We had the steak with mash and veggies, the Stir Fry (OMG Amazing) and the kids chicken nuggets and chips. The steak was cooked perfectly as requested, the mash was creamy and the veggies had been tossed in butter and were to die for! Highly recommend this place for a perfect lunch or dinner!

I slept well after the people in the other rooms settled for the night.The staff were very helpful.one of the other guests helped me with my luggage as I couldn't carry everything down stairs all at once.I couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

What a great hotel with friendly and efficient staff/service. My faith in pub accommodation has been restored. The rooms and facilities were clean and well appointed plus it had a lovely common area with TV and kitchen facilities. Plus undercover parking for our bikes. It is a true bike/rider friendly pub. Very quiet too.And, The food was excellent.We will definitely stay again.
