Dined in the function room - absolutely delicious meals - very friendly staff. Air con way too high (but not sure if anyone asked to turn it down so no dissing). Great for any function.

Food was ok... I ordered a steak 🥩 on the App but it wasn't functioning properly so I never received my order. By the time we found out the others in the party had eaten. So be very careful when using the App... We stayed at the nightcap hotel 🏨 apart of the complex. The free drink wasn't free, false and misleading... We never received the 10% discount as specified...

Very busy, popular place to find a good meal in the Carrum Downs area. My wife was happy with her gluten-free roast of the day, and l had a very nice schnitzel. Friendly service, clean and reasonable prices. Well worth a visit.

We love eating here on Fridays or Saturdays. Because the food variety is so good we study the menu. But always resort to ordering serveral entrees. Everything you see in the photo is absolutely mouth watering . Sometimes we order one more because it's never to filling just right. We recommend to everyone

I recently stayed here for work and was very impressed with my room. It was so spacious, with beautiful decor and an amazing rain shower in the bathroom. The place was immaculate and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. My only gripe is the coffee ☕️. It's from a vending machine which is okay but not the best and there is no selection of alternatives milks but you're not far away from some lovely little cafes.

Went for dinner and meals were tasty & well- sized.
Steaks were cooked to perfection ( one medium- rare, the other well done). Only negative- chips were a bit limp and not hot.
Overall good service, food and value for money.

We didn't book, they were busy but accommodated us in the hotel breakfast room off the main room. I had a burger which was decent. They forgot to bring my beer until prompted but got it quickly after that in time to have it with the food. Others on the table had seafood platter, steak and Texas Parma. Everyone thought their food was nice. Service wasn't quick but nor was it slow.

Had lunch today Thursday, booking was easy, the greeting was lovely, great customer service, we were sat down and given menus. Had the senior steak, I like mine well done and congratulations to the chief it was fantastic, the bar staff were quick and the drinks great,

On Thursday 15th - Friday 16th September 2022 my fiancé and I went to Sands Hotel - Carrum downs. As I walked in Jennine smiled at me and I said Hello and told her I was going to my room. The customer service is always perfect. The queen room and the facilities were amazing. It was clean. The shower head was huge and it was spacious inside too. Bed was comfortable and supportive. When we were leaving we met Erin and told her how much we enjoyed staying there. We wanted to come back again. She was very welcoming and encouraged us to return again. Amazing. Thank you :D

On Wednesday 7th September my fiancé and I went to the Sands Hotel - Carrum downs. We ordered the Southern Fried Burger, Chicken Parma and Lemon, Lime Bitters. We were looked after by Lea and she makes the best drinks and has amazing customer service as well. We can't wait to return for lunch again. Thank you :D

Food is ok. But service is poor. Stay in Hotel and have dinner in the restaurant. One time, after dinner they forgot my dessert. Other time, after order I wait over one hour until l ask for. It's normal week day and not busy time.

Mostly a positive experience at Sands Hotel. The wait staff were good, they seated us quickly and in a good location. Orders taken and food arrived fairly quickly. The kid's food arrived first which was good and the others arrived promptly after.

Our first visit with the family. Great service and very impressed with the serving size. Food was delicious and well presented. We will definitely be back.

Went to the Sands for dads 70th birthday,meals were fantastic will be back again.

We got knocked back even though we were fully vaccinated. Waited so long to go out. Had my 5 year old in tears. Never going there again.
Tbh the only reason we go there because it's close and convenient. Very average venue.

Great pub meal with a good.variety of meal options. Food came quickly and was delicious and very reasonable in size! Looking forward to going back and trying out more of the menu.

First time attending this venue tonight for a party of 12 guests and there is no way I can NOT give acknowledgement and gratitude to the staff for their accommodating hospitality, extremely fast service and the amazing meals where every single dish we ordered was so delicious!!! Really confused. Your website states it reopened June 11th and your times were updated last week. I made the journey down there this morning because your website states you are open. Guess what when I got there everything locked at 7:30 am. Quite ANNOYING.. May I suggest you update your website with the correct hours. Thanks

Good place we go for a game of pool. I saw a meal come.put, looked terrific but I've not tried the food yet. The bar we were in looked a little old but it some & neat & has it's own 'character'

Food good & plentiful. Fish & Chips fresh &:well cooked. Steak sandwich could have been cooked a little more. Replacement meal cooked to perfection. Atmosphere good

My brother and I just dined at the Sands Hotel for the first time ever, and I have to say..WoW, OMG! That was the best steak I've had in years!Cooked to perfection , flavorsome, so tasty, melt in the mouth, absolutely delicious .So impressed i will definitely be back and i will tell everyone i know.Love, love, love :)

Had lunch for a function, the food was awesome. Definitely picked up their game since last year. Also know how to make a decent coffee too.

Really impressed!! Haven't been here for a few years, but after being unable to get into our new local we decided to give it another go. The chef was really helpful about making adjustments for dietary requirements & what come out was fantastic!! Really tasty, competively priced with other pubs nearby & fast service!!
