Staff lovely. Great location. Alcohol expensive. Prawn taco was more of a prawn nacho. Senior Parma good value with tasty salad

I'm giving it 3 stars because the pub and bistro staff were very friendly and the food was great. The motel however only warrants a 1 star and that's only because the hot water was nice and..hot. The room was in a poor state. You get what you pay for.

I spent on what was supposed to be a "buffalo mozzarella Margherita" pizza, expecting a fresh, high-quality meal. Unfortunately, it fell far short. The pizza wasn't remotely worth the price - overcooked, dry crust, cheese that wasn't buffalo mozzarella but rather generic shredded pizza cheese, and not a fresh herb in sight.

To make matters worse, when ordering two mains, one would expect them to arrive at the same time and be served hot. My partner's chicken parmigiana was lukewarm, and by the time my pizza finally arrived, he had already finished his meal.

At for two underwhelming dishes, the prices absolutely don't reflect the quality of the food. I guess when you're the only place in town the owner's think they can get away with it.

I'll stick with a cheese toastie at the caravan park next time champions.

My wife & I had a meal, dessert and drink on Cup day 2024.
I'm dissapointed to say that we found the food to be very average. The meals and drink were quite expensive. We wouldn't have minded the prices if the food was exceptional, which it was not.
The staff however, were very friendly & helpful, and they served our food promptly.

We had a great night, "Exceptional meal! The steaks were perfectly cooked - tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The lamb chops were equally delicious with a great sear and seasoning. Quality ingredients and expert preparation made every bite memorable. Great atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommend!"
