Beautiful setting and generous serves of creative food with attention to detail. Way better than the average pub. Great value and good local wine list. Organised and efficient with friendly service , despite being busy we were fed quickly and left very happy.

Arrived late on a very busy night. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Good menu and wine selection. Had 2 lovely meals salmon & salt & pepper squid. We had to wait a while but that was expected, which meant we eventually had a quieter spot.

I'm from Adelaide and dropped in for lunch to meet the mother in law and I must say the food was amazing. Restaurant quality. I had the pork crusted cutlet and it was cooked to perfection, it was to die for. I also had drunken mussels and the cream sauce was too good, full of flavour. Highly recommend this place. Staff were amazing, welcoming and smiling. Keep up the good work. Great country pub.

A great spot for us to take our dogs and enjoy a good meal, museum wines and have the heaters keep us warm in the beer garden. Had a nice 1998 Zema Shiraz, some fish and chips and an awesome waygu beef steak sandwich. The food was only but the wine was around 0. We definitely recommend this dog friendly pub😀

Delightful old pub with outstanding food, the pork chop was large moist and delicious, the beef cheeks rich and indulgent.
