My meal was amazing. The rissoles delicious. Big serve of vegies. What impressed me the most tonight ; was how well the staff and kitchen coordinated meal service. The place was packed and everyone rallied together like a well oiled machine. A credit to the management.

Wasn't our original choice but glad we went. I had the risotto and my wife had a pasta dish they were delicious. We have been on the road from WA Since December 2024 and this was one of the best meals we have had. Very nice inside, staff friendly, very happy.

Had lunch here on a Sunday, and the place was quite full, with a few tables here and there empty. The food took about 30min to arrive once we'd ordered and that felt reasonable. Staff were working hard to keep up with people ordering at the bar and were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a pizza and a pasta, both tasted good and were what we expected. Parking could be a bit tough at busy times. Overall a good place to pop in for a good pub meal.

The Royal has been tastefully renovated and does have a pleasant ambience when compared to the average pub around town. Sitting with a drink and a few friends and sharing a pizza was a nice experience. The service was friendly but not outstanding and the pizza was above average but not amazing. It's a reliably
good solid venue that is a cut above if you need to meet with friends or just have a meal out. I'd love to see something 'extra' to add the wow! factor, although I'm not sure what that could be! But it's certainly worth adding to your list if you're visiting Toowoomba.

We had takeaway my husband picked it up he had roast chicken and I had the pork. The potato bake had no cream and the cheese rubbery the beans not seasoned the crakeling was like a dried up bulls balls the only thing I liked was the pork was moist and yummy. Not impressed it was really good years ago.

Sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice cream was very yummy
