The service was great we had a lovely waitress who looked after us. The kids found their chicken a little dry and the side of vegetables were forgotten but the adult main meals were great. It was quiet when we went and the kids didn't mind the playground but it was a bit dusty.

As we came in we were greeted with a huge smile and welcome. We were shown to our table and were given complimentary drinks for Mothers Day. The Food was delicious and it arrived hot and on time with the others on the table. We all enjoyed our meals immensely. Congratulations to the Rose Shamrock Hotel. A delight for families. Thank you so much for a wonderful dinner. Will be coming back. My lovely aunt even won the raffle!!

a really nice quick meal, doesn't cost an arm and a leg. the staff are so friendly and were very attentive in my experience here. Will most definitely be back.

We have come all the way from Adelaide and saw you guys had trivia night so we thought why not come down for that and some dinner and a game of pool!

Everyone here are very very friendly!

Food was amazing we ordered the porterhouse and the pie and both meals were very well made and tasted even better!

Portion sizes were more than enough also!

And the trivia just topped it off!

The host is very engaging and very helpful especially for new comers!!

We had a great birthday lunch here! The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxed!

Staff are great, place is nice enough.
Food has gone downhill considerably for the last 2 years, the last meal I had was worse than from a fish and chip shop.
Yeah, drop in for a drink, place is cool but don't bother eating here.

Sharon is a great service attendant and the staff here are very lovely!
Kids play area is why we come, so parents AND kids are all happy!
Sadly to say, the steak was overcooked, this time, I had to send it back but was refunded and given a complimentary beverage.

Came for dinner last Saturday night (2/9) very disappointed to have to order at the bar with the drinkers. What's happened to ordering at the food bar?
Food was good but service terrible, we had to move plates onto another table so we could have dessert and the wait staff were more concerned with removing glasses than plates or standing talking to pokies customers.
Other tables were just left without being cleared.
Every time we are there, there's less and less people.

The foods good,the service was excellent, don't go there for the t.a.b the sports bar is never open, they only care about the pokies.the Matheson's are dirty filthy rich CAPPO'S

Sharon was lovely at the front desk, very accomodating and helped me a lot! The chef however I found was not accomodating towards my severe allergies (anaphylactic). I asked to see the packaging for the bread used with the garlic bread, Sharon was lovely and went into the kitchen to check. The chef refused to show her the packaging and told her to tell me to simply not have it. I have had this allergy for 23 years and have been brought up to ask and check if ever unsure, to be refused that was extremely hurtful and very unprofessional. As someone who works in hospitality and has for years, I have never refused somebody the right to check the packaging of foods if they are unsure of allergies or dietary restrictions. Sharon was extremely apologetic to no fault of her own by any means, it was just disheartening to be treated that way even if it was for safety precautions as it is still in my right to check.

Incredibly friendly and hospitable, especially to my 4 and 2 year olds. Friday nights are amazing for young families with free magic and music shows by excellent professionals. They are fantastic with the kids, really lovely. And the staff are exceptionally warm and friendly. Great place, very good prices too.

Came here for some Dinner and Trivia on a Tuesday night, the desserts are $10, most come with cream and ice cream.
This pub is located on Plenty Road with lots of parking available. You can order through the app on the table or at the bar.

Plenty of seating and dining tables inside. Next to the pokies room. There's a section for kids.
There's usually drink specials, with a dining menu and sports bar menu

One of the best pub dinners with presentation of food considering we ordered 5 steaks for the table only one of them was a bit overdone which was still a pass considering we had lots of add on's. Presentation of food was top notch and really appetizing, mash was delicious and veggies just the perfect amount. Sharon was a lovely waitress and friendly in conversations:)
Nice and quiet for a Saturday night and kids area was a hit for my 7yo daughter. We'll definitely be back again!

Friendly hotel with a good range of food options. Regular visitor who likes the ambience & have friendly staff who are happy to converse with you & help out always when there is a problem. In particular, Sharon has shown me (as a former Woolies manager) how to treat & react to customer concerns as well as just welcoming them to the hotel.

I came here on Christmas day with my family, and I was very impressed. Tables decorated, friendly staff, food was delicious,

Was very happy, even Santa arrived.
Overall a very good afternoon.

Had a table next to the warm cozy fire for Fathers Day. Our table had a free Father's Day gift which was nice. The food was delicious, came out quick. The service was great and the staff were friendly. Thanks guys! Will definitely be coming back.

Haven't been here for some time and thought we'd give it another go.
The Roast of the day was Pork but unfortunately it wasn't roast at all. No crackle, and that's the only reason l get Roast Pork.
It was loin pork steaks cooked on a pan almost stewed with a funny texture and flavour about it.
My potatoes and pumpkin were very hot but again no roast factor about them & boiled veggies.
The gravy now very pleasant and the apple sauce didn't taste right either.
The streak sandwich was over all nice but the steak itself didn't seem freshly cooked and was tough and dry.
The staff on the other hand were very nice, attentive and friendly but can't say we will be back any time soon. 😊

Rose Shamrock has a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Came in for a beer and dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the staff were and the excellent food there. Would highly recommend! Thank you Sharon for the great customer service and checking to see how the meals were and if we needed anything else. I can also recommend the strawberry moose for anyone with a sweet tooth as it tastes like a jam doughnut! Thank you chef!

I know it's pub grub and I know it's not in a top notch location BUT if I order Roast of the Day and it's described as pork with cracking I somehow expect succulent moist meat with a hint of crackling and the edge of the meat flavoursome.
Instead the meal was old.
The meat had no flavour and certainly looked like it had been boiled and not roasted with no hint of oven about it.
The 'roast' potatoes were hard and soggy at the same time - they'd been cooked some time earlier and been waited for service. Not crisp like a roast potato should be. Nor the pumpkin.
The 'seasonal' vegetables I'm pretty certain were the frozen kind that sit in water waiting for service. The cauliflower had a sour taste and the broccoli was bearable.
I'm not a packet mix person so I couldn't deal with the gravy.
I ended up only having the meat, some apple sauce to give it flavour and the broccoli.
The staff were pleasant enough and the place clean.

Staff very friendly. Food great value and well cooked. Staff show individual attention to your meal and requests. Heaps of parking. Pokies next door for amusement.

Staff were warm and approachable. Sharon, who catered to our every need, went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our meal and service. She was lovely.
The food was delicious and had a great choice of classic favourites. Seniors can eat under $10. However, non-senior meals are a tad on the expensive side.

We 7 mature ladies thoroughly enjoyed our visit/lunch today. The Senior meals were all enjoyed, it was nice and quiet in our area, so it was easy to chat and hear each other. Special mention to Conner for looking after us so well from taking our orders to delivering the food! Thanks everyone.

Nice quiet atmosphere for Saturday lunch. Garlic bread was the best ever had. Chicken schnitzel arrived hot, with chips & salad. Lisa was really friendly, great personality. Will be returning.

My local pizza shop does a much better parma for $10 cheaper... most of the staff were miserable and not friendly. Will not be returning.

A very welcoming, warm vibe when you first walk in! Almost home like. Was offered coffee and greeted so nicely. the venue manager is also very easy going.

First time back at Rose Shamrock after many years. Our family was not disappointed. We arrived at 8.30pm and the chef was more than happy to work longer to accommodate us. We really appreciated that. The meals were delicious and despite being on his own, they arrived within a reasonable time. The lady who took our orders was attentive and super friendly. Thank you to the staff on the night for a great meal.
