We attended a family function here on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and the atmosphere was great. A buzz of people out for lunch and a lot of space for them to enjoy their day without it feeling cluttered. There was a playground that was quite large for kids making it a great family lunch spot.

The food was prefect and the portions were huge with lots of options available to choose from. There's even a selections of deserts in the glass case to choose from. The staff were wonderful and even took a family photo for us which was lovely. They were so patient and hospitable with our large order. I loved the vibrant atmosphere with lots of different spaces including a pokies, sports bar, bistro, playground, and drive thru bottle-o. Check it out if you're looking for a good spot to eat in Reservoir.

I had the tuscan chicken for Father's Day dinner ended up in bed all day vomiting, we have been to your restaurant in the past and food was fantastic. I should have said something last night that it had a little bit of a smell.
I really enjoy the sticky date pudding though.

The child's play area is impressive if you have little people and while the food was tasty the service was atrocious. I ordered via QR code as when I was browsing the menu it said 45 minute wait. I would not have ordered had I known that to be wildly inaccurate as my food arrived literally 6 minutes later and no one else at the table had ordered. Our drinks never arrived and after I went to the service area to enquire I was told very huffily that drink orders are meant to be brought to the counter, something it does not tell you when you are ordering online, and completely defeats the purpose of ordering online. My meal also had a hair in it see photo. Combine this with the poorly managed process of making a reservation where I called and was told someone would call me back and confirm and when no one had the day before I chased again and was told the manager would call me back to confirm (and didn't). Not sure what requires so much confirmation but it's pretty frustrating when you are trying to coordinate 20 people for dinner and can't even be confident you have a locked in venue

The food, service and atmosphere was great. Even my Seeing Eye Dog in Training was welcomed without any issues!

The only disappointment was that we couldn't order online and therefore not get any Frisbie Reward points! What is the use of having them especially when we spent so much for Mother's Day family dinner, if we can't use them or accumulate more for rewards or deals??

Food is what you pay for would eat it again some of the regular staff are excellent but the free Friday night face painting has ruined my experience for some one who is meant to deal with kids has done nothing but been rude and aggressive to kids over poor placement of her equipment children sat still and she was still making them uncomfortable the kids were smart enough to line up and she would pick kids who came last and complain about designs. I'd witnessed 4 parents watching unhappy and walked past 2 table complaining I would not recommend coming here for that feature it's a horrible experience.

The food is so yummy! It's rare to find a place where the food is consistently great, and there's a space for the kids to play. We are able to sit back, relax and enjoy the chatter whilst the kids play. Also, if the weather is nice you can walk over to the park for a stroll. Lovely!

Nice pub to take the kids. Great play area for the kids to play. Bistro was huge so enough room so not getting cramped as people move between the tables and the bar. Food was ok without being amazing. Buffalo wings would be better if they were cooked in the sauce rather than being wings with a sauce on top. Had the meat lovers pizza which was fine but the golden point sister pub does it a little bit better especially with the right topping mix but it was good enough. No apple juice for the kids on a Saturday at 130 pm wasn't great. Food came out fairly speedy which was helpful. As a rack em and stack em sort of place it was pretty good. Great for catching up with large groups with children.

My family and I just returned from overseas and we wanted to go somewhere close to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
It's been a few years since we have had meals at Edwards Lake Hotel.
To our surprise were delighted to find great food and an excellent menu , the children really enjoyed the playing centre also ??'?.
I am happy to now recommend Edwards Lake Hotel as an alternative to cafes and restaurants.

Four years ago, I had my initial dinner experience here in Australia. Presently, I have repeated that enjoyable experience once more. To be honest, I anticipate doing it repeatedly as I am deeply enamored with this place, specifically its atmosphere, service, and cuisine.

This place is awesome! Definitely Family and kid friendly, the indoor playground is amazing (my kids loved it!) And the food was great.
Service was exceptional and staff were friendly and attentive.
Definitely recommend bringing the whole family here!

This place is absolutely incredible. I have been here twice now and both times I've had the best experience. Eddie (owner/manager) and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. They are always smiling and happy to help with whatever you need. The food is great, they have a whole menu for gluten free intolerance and other dietary restrictions. The entertainment section for the kids is fantastic. I absolutely love this place. Thank you Eddie and staff.

The play cafe attached is amazing and one of the meals wasn't bad at all.

I would advise them to get cake forks because my toddler had to use a big fork for his spaghetti and when I went to ask for a cake for or spoon I got handed a tiny takeaway ice cream spoon

I had the stake 30% of my stake was so chewy I couldn't eat it it was cooked to medium so that's a +

I came here for dinner this past weekend and it was a lovely experience. The food and service is amazing. Although the atmosphere was extremely comforting. I would definitely recommend this place to other people and will definitely be coming back here!

Terrible food. I got the nourish bowl and it was some lettuce and rice with dressing. Overpriced salad. Steak was expensive and there were hardly any chips for $32. Kids play area is the best though! Next time I'll just order a garlic pizza and enjoy the kids area.

Had a booking of 20 for lunch. Food was quick coming out but we had to ask for them to clear the plates, they came and cleared maybe 3 plates, at first I thought it was because they were busy but then seen a bunch of them standing at the servery. The service in the bar was nice and friendly but the waitresses never smiled once and looked like they didn't want to be there. Won't be rushing back any time soon

A booking of 20. Worst Ceaser salad I have ever had big chunks of bacon whole meal crust of bread for croutons no flavour. Plenty of staff but not 1 cleared our table or asked if we enjoyed our meals. You might have a playground but that's all you have going for you. Very dissapointed

Mae an okie meal. Place was amazing. Just pity I had to make a drop of to hungry jacks as was still hungry. But has a great time at my nephew's party.

Always love coming here for family events as the kids play land is awesome.. coffee is top notch here as well. Food is pretty nice too, nothing amazing just good yummy pub food. Kids spaghetti is a win!!

Great venue for a family night out. Large plates, kids meals and pensioner meals. They have a fav play area for the kids. Plenty of seating for the whole family and the service is matched with the friendly welcoming faces and service. You can even try your luck in the gaming area if so inclined. Check out there nightly specials for a bargain or grab yourself a nice cooked to order steak.

3 out 4 meals sent back. One meal sent back 3 times. The chef has trouble cooking a steak. The dinning furniture is out dated. 80's atmosphere. Will not be going back ever.

What a lovely meal tonight steak night $50 for two and it was cooked perfectly thank you to the chefs.
Staff were so friendly and working so hard to clear tables, clean and serve. Thank you for working so hard to make our night enjoyable we most certainly will be back.

Just wish the a.c was more effective in the play area for the kids. Terribly hot there today and running after kids is not fun. But gr8 set up for the kids to play while they adults can have a bite to eat.
Had caesar salad not bad, dressing could be a bit tastier. Otherwise not bad.

Been here before and wasn't impressed. However the playground is an absolute winner for the kids! We braved it again tonight, assuming the food was going to be average, and it was DELICIOUS. I had the garlic prawns and rice, it was a special, and it was amazing.

Excellent play area if you have kids. The meal prices were quite steep for what you get so we opted to just get our kids meals and bought Thai on the way home. Was surprised there was no burger options on the menu, only a vegan burger. I would go back though especially if in a group of our friends with kids

Shocked at how different the atmosphere of the hotel was. Staff so unwelcoming and food average. Was seated at a table and wasn't told about online ordering system. Me&u ordering system had hardly any options due to them all being "unavailable". Working in hospitality myself it was a bad experience to the point where I had to go up and get my drinks myself after 30 mins even though we used the system which is designed so you do not have to get up from your table.

Always a wonderful place to catch up with friends for a casual meal. Great menu and wonderful service. Huge playground for the kids to play and now you don't even have to leave your table to order food and drinks ???-

Decent meals, always turned around quickly. Great playground for kids and staff always quite good.
Good family restaurant

The tomato and avocado salad contained a mix of fresh and extremely old, soft tomatoes. The avocado was a dip, smeared on the bowl and the goats cheese had been squeezed into the plate in blobs. I suspect it was a dip as well.Very unsatisfactory and hardly worth the $19 charge.

First time going here and had good time tho.. Ordered Fish & chips, was alright since chips was little dry.. I couldn't find any dessert on menu and waitress' aren't very attentive.

Great service. Our table ordered all different meals and most were fantastic. Save yourself from the Texan Ribs, watery and flavourless and the Portuguese Chicken was the same it was as if they were pressure cooked or par boiled. The staff refunded the 2 offending meals. Service I can't fault. Atmosphere was great, large play room for kids. We will be back, but gonna stick to the pub standards next time

My twin nieces had birthday party. Place is beautiful, clean and food is fresh . Staff friendly and welcoming. Great place. Highly recommending

Great place to go if u have young kids, this centre has a great kids play area to keep them busy & having fun. Food is really good too so all up, a great place to relax & enjoy your evening.

We had my daughters birthday here today and I have to commend the waitresses, they were amazing. We were a party of 33 people and they accommodated us with such friendliness and with a smile on their face even though they were run off their feet with so many other party bookings. The food came out all together and tasted amazing. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.
