We've dined here a few times and while never a gourmet experience, it was always decent. However, this time it was different. Message to management: if you're going to charge the prices that you are charging, at least have food and service that is commensurate. The beef pie was pure stodge - basically a load of batter-like pastry containing a slurry of finely ground supermarket mince meat resting on a pile of lukewarm mashed potato smothered in something resembling gravox. Not a single cube of meat for $25! A simple pie with chunky premium steak in a crispy pastry case served in a small dish was what I was expecting. Won't be returning.
