The food was amazing. We're from Adelaide and always eat at The Rising Sun when in Bendigo. The Salisbury Chicken and the Chicken and Cashew Crepe are just the best!!

The Rising Sun have been more than accommodating for our Christmas end of year celebrations for several years. They are kind, courteous and always go out of their way to make us feel comfortable and at home.

Thank you to the staff on Wednesday 18th December, you made our last social group gathering such an amazing day. Our clients love going out for a pub meal. You accommodated us at the last minute for our booking. Would highly recommend the Rising Sun for a family get together work function and even an end of the year lunch. Our clients thoroughly enjoyed lunch.

Attended a dinner with a group of bowlers after a big week of bowling There was about 30 of us Enough seating but waited a fair while for our meal bar ran out of the wine that we liked and was buying by the bottle
The food when we got it was delicious
The atmosphere was fabulous
I would go back again but I suggest if you get big bookings make sure you have enough stock and staff
Not all older people drink sofa water and lemon squash

Lovely bistro. relaxing atmosphere, the service was great,fast and friendly staff.
The food was good quality and tasty.
Husband had BBQ Parma, and I had chicken and cashew crepe ...very nice for both .

Always a great place to meet up with friends. Not noisy, great food & service although they were short staffed we didn't have to wait long. I've been going to the Rising sun for many,many years & it doesn't disappoint.
