Super convenient, very quiet and high quality - and a rain shower!!

Stayed in the King Suite and was impressed with the huge and comfy bed, a lovely outdoor patio with huge BBQ, quite fast wifi and a rain shower!
The place is just across the road from the IGA and other shops but really quiet, and it's an easy stroll to the beach.
Debbie is a fantastic host. I plan on staying here my next trip and highly recommend it.

I stayed at Debbie's Place for one night in November and it was the best night I've had in Australia so far. Debbie welcomed me upon arrival and showed me into my gorgeous room. Debbie is extremely kind, getting me some milk so I could make a cup of tea and she even asked if I'd eaten dinner. The bed was extremely comfy, the sofa was lovely and I had the best nights sleep.
I would absolutely recommend Debbie's Place to anyone who is planning to go to Rainbow Beach or Fraser Island. She is a wonderful host.

If I could give this place no stars, I would. Let me just say the facilities are lovely, but Debbie is NOT! After making a booking for myself and 15 other ladies in July for a doggy, friendly road trip, the first question I asked when Debbie answered the phone was she a dog friendly hotel, her reply was yes for an extra fee (all good I can live with that). After booking and paying for 4 single rooms, 3 shared rooms in early August with no payment receipt or invoice (first red flag). We arrived at our bikes with x2 poodles in tow to a very mean Debbie who flat out called me a liar (even though her very new looking sign out the front says pet friendly). Debbie then proceeded to say she wouldn't allow dogs as she had just put in new carpet (I'm guessing Debbie forgot about the dogs on my booking). She then proceeded to change all the rooms we reserved and put one of the ladies who paid for her own room in a shared apartment with a different booking! After arguing with Debbie, she finally gave the lady a refund after telling me what's the problem she had her own bedroom (um, Debbie, she paid for her own room, so she didn't have to share, that's the problem).

So, if you want friendly service and be treated with respect, go somewhere else because Debbie is incapable of this! No doubt Debbie will reply to this review calling me a liar and rude and how some people canceled etc. (yes one lady pulled out a week before due to an injury which we asked for a refund for). Yes, some other ladies pulled out, but we still ended up needing 3 single rooms and 3 shared rooms.

I'm really torn because the accommodation itself at Debbie's Place was quite nice - clean, comfortable, and well-located. However, the entire experience was marred by the rude and unprofessional behavior of Debbie, the owner.

Our group of 20 had traveled over three hours to visit, and we were met with nothing but hostility. Debbie's attitude was rude and disrespectful from the start. She also lied to us about key details, including the fact that she supposedly does not accept pets, despite a prominent "dog friendly" sign on the property. When we raised the issue, she was unkind and defensive, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.

It's a shame because the place itself has potential, but with such a negative attitude from the owner, I wouldn't recommend Debbie's Place to anyone. No matter how nice the accommodation may be, no one should have to deal with dishonesty and poor treatment, especially after traveling such a long distance.

Stayed here for work recently. Room was incredibly comfortable, clean and well presented. Owner Debbie gives 10/10 service, such a kind and friendly person. Clearly very dedicated and passionate about running her awesome hotel!
