My wife and family went to Meat and Eat at the Raiders Club in Kippax. The food there is always very good, today, being Mothers Day, was no exception. The staff were friendly, welcoming and happy to please. The restaurant was quite busy, the overflow area had been opened for guests to ensure that everyone was able to have a meal. Our meal took a little longer than usual, however this was expected as they really were quite busy. Once the food arrived, everything was as expected, and was cooked just as we had ordered it. My daughter ordered a steak medium rare, it was cooked to perfection. My wife ordered a Chicken Kiev, again cooked to perfection. My son ordered a Chicken Schnitzel with the lot, the schnitzel was nearly the size of the plate, with all the toppings that he wanted. I had a pasta meal, which was also very good. All this for a little over ( average) $30.00 per head Certainly great food, value for money and a wonderful atmosphere with great service.

We attended Raiders Club Belconnen
Sunday 14/07 as a large group 25 people
Upon arrival we realised we were early for dinner as tthe bistro opens at 1730pm.
The food is fresh and delicious,
The prices are fair and they always have blackboard specials.
The service from when we arrived at main reception was friendly and welcoming
The service from the Bistro ladies could be better.
Overall a great modern clean Club
We would definitely visit again.

Great for families with kids. There is an indoor playground next to the dining hall. Food is pretty good for club food

I'm not a club or pub person, so I don't warm to a pub-like club environment. Although the facility has the ambience of a local pub, there are a few positive features.
The food is good and reasonably priced.
There's an eating area with large tables which is excellent when our large family and friends have a meal together there.
The intimate eating area with large glass windows overlooking the footy field is the place I have coffee with a few mates. We like that spot a lot.

Really nice family friendly spot with good prices - especially on nights with specials on. Parmys and Schnitzels are spot on and the toasties look incredible. There's a cafe section, restaurant section, pokies, raffles and even an arcade game at the front. Friendly staff and a homely feel to the place.

Fantastic welcoming venue with excellent food and great customer service.

I've visited here multiple times with work and friends. It's a fantastic atmosphere and inclusive.

Meat raffle is a bit of fun and fantastic prices for the small amount charged per ticket.

The venue welcomes guests from a variety of backgrounds, including assistance animals. It's wheelchair accessible and easy to get around the venue.

Had a loverly stay rooms where a1 friendly staff Cafe close for breakfast walking distance to Westfield will be going back for an other stay

The food was really nice, but I had booked a table at the booth on the lounge area. When we arrived we were told that they don't book tables in that area, would have been nice to been let know before hand. Other than having to wait forever to order and the finding out all the specials had already gone!

Raiders Balconnen is an awesome club! It's not big compared to NSW standards but everything else is up there or better. The food was incredible, the staff were friendly, drinks cold, massive parking and the pokies in plentiful amounts! The burger I got was just splendid! Well done, well done and well done!

We come here frequently, a solid and reliable place for a meal and their lunch specials are very good value. A good selection of standard beers and ciders on tap and in the fridge with the occasional craft addition to the line up to keep things interesting.
Friendly and helpful staff, plenty of parking and well maintained facilities.
Sometimes a bit noisy on a Friday night as there are a lot of families, but that is to be expected as it is family friendly.
By far the best Raiders in Canberra.

Call yourselves a Raiders club. Have one of the worst big screens of any club in Canberra. Far too dim, and have about a 20 seat capacity for people to watch the game. Way too many pokies and not a big enough seating area.
Don't know how you expect fans to turn up and watch away games with a pathetic setup like that! Go elsewhere for Raiders away games!

I regularly get the $19.90 lunch special of 250g rump steak (medium rare, of course) including 2 sides (low carb double veg for me) and a sauce of your choice. Amazing value and outstanding quality. I've eaten steak meals all over. Raiders Kippax is 90% consistently great.

Great food and a very family-friendly atmosphere. There is an indoor playground for the kids so the adults can eat in peace while the kids entertain themselves 🙂.

One of the best chicken schnitzel lunches I've ever had. Awesome value for money. The club is a nice little place, natural light and very friendly staff. Well worth having a meal.

Food is expensive and really poor quality. The food took AGES to come out and it was only 5:30pm on a Sunday. The 'medium' rump steak was a tiny, thin piece of meat that was extremely tough and VERY over cooked. When it was mentioned to the wait staff, she just shrugged her shoulders. The pork belly burger is so tall it's impossible to eat without pulling apart and using a knife and fork. They have given no thought to how their food 'eats'.

The chairs in the dining room are disgusting! Covered in I don't know what all along the back of every single chair; so gross and dirty. The music was so loud we couldn't talk without shouting. It was an uncomfortable, unpleasant night out. Won't be back that's for sure.
I will say the guy on the front desk was friendly and helpful though.

Really enjoy this club. We dine here often. Either just my husband and I or with my whole extended family 20+ ppl. It accommodates to both. Really love the kids facilities(playground and arcade) and keeps them busy while we enjoy dinner and catching up. A couple of times there have been a mix up of orders and on both occasions the person who handled our mix up (3 different females) were fantastic! Professional, quick and confident. They were super busy these nights and the young lady was just so patient with us. Highly recommend!

We went mid week for lunch. Food was very tasty for a Club meal. Was also quite which meant we could have a great chat without straining to hear and had a table overlooking the oval. Will certainly go back.

A good all round local club. Most importantly for the 5 stars is that ive never felt judged by anyone there for being a loner or a gambler. I rate that. Everyone is at where there at.

We all had stone grilled steak, it was delicious. It was great fun to cook your steak to your liking and the stone stays hot for a long time.

For what you pay plates come out looking empty. The kids meals look better value! Always very noisy. Kids don't get looked after by their families near by in the playground. Menu needs a revamp. Lots spent recently on renovations. Don't think we'll go back.

Food is typical of your average bistro, family areas are spacious and separated, nice atmosphere. Was far too cold in the area we sat at, would recommend bringing a jacket. Would be a higher review if not for the fact that management has revoked the children eat free on Tuesdays promo, but have failed to indicate this on the exterior of the building, still advertising this promo. Signs placed out of the way on the inside show that the promo has ended, but only after entering the restaurant. Scummy false advertising tactics to lure families in and make them pay full price.

This is my all time favourite place. After renovation it looks amazing.
They have best menu. Pulled pork burger is fantastic. Love this place.
