Play Pokies at Raglan Tavern in Raglan

A week ago I stopped at the Raglan Tavern for dinner and to stay the night only to be greeted by a very unfriendly and rude older lady behind the bar with a "yes......what do you want". I didn't reply and left. Will never call past there again.

Arrived after a long day's travelling, was looking forward to a relaxed afternoon and evening. Went in all happy and was met with a cold reception, no two way conversation just an "outside" when I asked where our dog could go. Was served drinks promptly but felt like an intruder. Having already prepared our caravan for the night, we got ready and left.

Pulled in for lunch with the family,
Couldn't see the menus till 11:55am asked nicely what was on the menu got told to wait till the menu comes out , fair enough but it didn't have to come with an attitude!
Asked nicely three times by three different people , ALL of us got nothing but attitude!
Toilets stunk, paper towel supplied to wash hands is like plastic.
Pool table didn't spit white ball back out , darts supplied for dart board all broken but 3.
There was 10 of us , all walked out and went up the rd to Mount larcom pub where we had nothing to fault at all.

Would have stayed if we didn't get attitude from the lady behind the bar.
You lost over 0 in commission. Won't be back.

I pulled up to this bar, walked in and asked the bartender politely if she could fill up my water bottle with water. She smiled and said "No". I said okay and went to turn around and she piped up again, "You can buy water but I'm not filling that up." So I said okay and left.

I have never had anyone refuse to allow me to put tap water in my water bottle. Quite a confusing interaction. Do better in the future.

SOME OF THE BEST FOOD ANYWHERE - I had the fish of the day which was so good I had to ask what it was and was told sweet lip - well done chef it was perfect - my friend ordered the rump and I could barely get a word from him - finally he said " it was melt in the mouth delicious and soft" - kudos again chef for your excellent skill
