This is a very enjoyable pub for a beach locale lunch. The menu is thoughtful and varied. I liked the Asian influences in many dishes. The choice of serve sizes was great! They've thought about the patrons' needs, not just the profit margins. The staff was efficient and attentive, and not intrusive. One comment re booking. Don't bother. Just rock up. I tried to book on the phone and was told to book on the website. Even though the website has a section for making bookings, there are inconsistencies. I raised them with a waiter on arrival who said "we don't take bookings'! He obviously hasn't looked at the website! I'd therefore take him at his knowledgeable word and not bother booking! Maybe they've made a budget saving and given the IT person the flick! If not, they should. Next time (and there will be one), I'll just turn up, no booking ahead.

Nice lunch spot. We walked the beach from Coolum to here, it was a long walk. We needed a beer. Spring rolls were good. Could have caught a bus back, but we walked, 25,000 steps all up.

Had two expensive daiquiris that tasted the exact same even though I ordered 2 different types. Way too much lime. Alcohol was so light that it seemed more like mocktails than cocktails. Bar does not provide straws, so was served with a spoon in which to scoop and drink. Not impressed.

Big shout out to Griffin who made a special effort to make us feel welcome and special! Well done mate! A credit to your employers. Atmosphere fantastic all round, cheese pizza perfection, but was disappointed in the fresh seafood linguine, we ordered 2 of these, 1 was half a bowl the other was a full bowl? It was very very hot (jalapeños) and had to search for the 5 little prawns, and 2 little pieces of calamari. I did expect more to be honest, because the menu did say fresh local seafood? Anyway, great night, & the berry spritz was beautiful 😃

Don't drive past without stopping for the best and only pasta dish. The linguine we're damn delicious, an absolute pleasure for the tastebuds. The service was efficient, and everyone wore a beautiful grin which comes from the incredible management of Marco. It all starts from above and it shows from the great energy and atmosphere. Thanks for the amazing service.
