Nice pub. Went because I read it had a kids playground but I wouldn\'t recommend coming here if that\'s the driver. Playground is tiny and honestly not worth suggesting it has one.
Other than that, great service, great feed, good servings and value for money. Would not hesitate to come again. No removal of stars for calling it a parmi either ??'?

Good schnitzels. Great size and relatively quick service. Always busy. Good place for children as there is a playground and soft serve. Nice Lemon Lime and Bitters.
Update wintery weather so went for the Lamb Shsnks and mash. Lots of fresh vegetables and well cooked, still crunchy. The lamb shank was tasty and the meat fell off of the bone. Generous serve. Had a cocktail yo go with it.

The meals weren\'t great but they weren\'t terrible either, your classic supermarket owned pub. Although my son had a Wagu burger that cost me over 30 dollars and quite was disappointing.
The indoor playground was great for the little kids, which they enjoyed very much.
Overall I think there is better options in the area for a pub meal

Had a fantastic time at the Payneham Tavern with the kids! It's a great spot for families - spacious, welcoming, and the dedicated kids' play area is an absolute winner. The little ones were entertained the whole time, which meant we could actually relax and enjoy our meal. The food was excellent, especially their hand-pulled pizzas - fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly cooked.
We also couldn't leave without trying the desserts, and they did not disappoint. Sweet, indulgent, and the perfect way to finish off our visit.
