The 'Chicken Parma and Fries were subpar even for a pub meal. Hands down the worst pub feed in Melbourne.

The Parma was burnt from underneath (as seen in the picture) and was just bland!!! Couldn't taste any sort of herbs, spices and the Napoli sauce had no taste whatsoever.

The Fries were below average without any proper seasoning and was crispy only from outside. The inside was soggy and was not hot.

Not sure how can the Chef mess up the a Chicken Parma and specially the Fries???

Only decent thing was the 'Flash Fried Calamari'

Jess and Odette provide great service, and add to the bubbling atmosphere of the palace hotel. They bring a positive energy that is infectious, and back it up with quality food and a smile.

Visited the palace and was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of fantastic. I'll definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service.

Usually you guys are great and a good meal and value for pub food. However tonight I think something was wrong with the kitchen my rare steak came well done, my mushroom sauce tasted like blue cheese, and my mash for clearly re-heated since it was ice cold in the middle...

We just had some delicious pita pizza and beer with some amazing live music.
I love the place and beer of the month deals. Loved it when I was young and broke 20 years ago. Love it still when I am old and little less broke.
It is also a nice place to grab a beer on my way home from Camberwell station.
The atmosphere is comfortable - good seating and footy or cricket are always on. Service has always been friendly too. Hope they keep up the good work.
