We just had some delicious pita pizza and beer with some amazing live music.
I love the place and beer of the month deals. Loved it when I was young and broke 20 years ago. Love it still when I am old and little less broke.
It is also a nice place to grab a beer on my way home from Camberwell station.
The atmosphere is comfortable - good seating and footy or cricket are always on. Service has always been friendly too. Hope they keep up the good work.

had a wonderful lunch today with the family for our Mums birthday. everything was awesome! staff were lovely, food was yum, and the booking leading up to it was a breeze

Delicious food. Has a menu for kids and as well as seniors. Good value. Opposite the train and very near tram stop.
It does have pokies as well as the tv screen.
Can get busy.
Has a function area as well.

I really enjoy coming down to the palace hotel. Good food and a great place to watch sport. I enjoy playing a game of pool as well.... Rahul at the bar was very courteous.

Excellent location to share pints with kind people, watch sports and have a relaxed weekend. The staff is generous with their hospitality and all around a good time.

Used the app to order a burger and add egg and bacon. Didn't get what was ordered (no egg). The drink wasn't as ordered either. And after we ate someone else's meal was delivered to us. If you order here, make sure you double check that you get what you order. Poor service.

Excellent services, they maintain cleanliness and take care of your need. Great place with amazing staff, parking available for customers, along with amazing food and drinks with variety of choices. To me this is a one of the best place with best location. Must visit.

Been my local for 3 years. Good pub for a quiet beer. Also good when there's an event on. Great food, the curry and steak sandwich is top notch.

I arrived there at about 5.30 on the way home from work with my apprentice.
We ordered and paid for our meals.
After 1 and a half hours, food still did not arrive, so I went to the kitchen to ask how much longer it would be.
They replied, "I don't have a docket for that order. After that we eventually got a meal at around 7.30 pm.
If it wasn't for the fact that this was the only meal we had all day and was absolutely starving hungry, I would have asked for a refund and left.
The food was nice, but I don't think I'll be back considering the soul purpose of us stopping was to get a good meal ASAP after a long day without lunch.

I love the food here especially Chicken Curry, Steaks and Calamari and Cesar Salad all heaps good. Been coming here for years good vibe and very welcoming staff. Come in for a feed and a cocktail new cocktails now too..especially if you live locally

It was my first time at the Palace tonight. Had a great time and an excellent experience. The food was good, the drinks were very reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly. In particular, I'd like to thank the gaming attendant on the night (Taylor) who went out of her way time and time again to help when required. Finally some proper customer service again!!

Everything was great.

We 3 seniors had the fish and chips, the chicken schnitty and the chicken parma.

All 3 meals were fabulous.

The prices were better than most pubs, and the staff (especially Chris, behind the bar) were really lovely, friendly folk.

We'll definitely be back and we strongly recommend any hungry soul give this place a go.

Excellent service great venue and lovely events. Odette is my favourite bar tender she made everyone feel so welcome and made us enjoy our time so much more! Would definitely visit again in the future with more friends and family.

Came to see disco band Club 54 last night and booked a table to eat before the band.
There were 7 of us and everyone was happy with their meals and the friendly service.
This is the first time I have been to this venue.  Will definitely come back again.  A good night out with friends and reasonably priced.
Band was excellent as well, we spent the rest of the night on the dance floor, great workout😂

You check the place out because of the location and go back because of the staff! What a great bunch of peeps, shout out to Ellen and Chris for always making me feel the love. Also, order the chicken curry it's the bomb

The Palace could be an awesome pub - great location and a nice exterior. However the service, amenities and quality of food and interior decor are stuck in a time warp from the late 90s. In dire need of a serious capital injection and renovation and has been left behind by other pubs now.

My mate rang up to book a table last weekend and he to tell one of the staff how to book a table because he didn't know how...

I usually don't write bad reviews but I felt I had to in this case. Went with some friends and we ordered some parmas and wings. Parmas were tiny for $24 and the wings were small, dry and bland. Atmosphere was dark and dull despite the nice design of the heritage building from the street. It's ashame to see such a nice place in a great location end up in the way it is. Save yourself the trouble, go to the many other better pubs in the area.

Run down, needs some serious work. It's a shame due to beautiful heritage building and ideal location being close to train. Updated decor would help here. Good beers on tap and CC on tap is a nice touch.

I used to love the chicken parmas here. They were the best I'd ever had. Now, they use garbage schnitzels that look and taste like a big frozen chicken nugget. I've lost my favourite place to eat.

Amazing hand crumbed parmas. Best parmas in Camberwell and surrounding suburbs. Also they always have a beer on special.

The palace is a convenient place for us to get together for a drink.but, over the last few months, the bar staff are not as friendly. It does not make me want to come here anymore

The Palace Hotel Trivia is brilliant, Monday Nights are so much fun, Tom the host is such great value. The food is great & so are the staff!!!

Ordered the rare porterhouse with garlic butter, got the well done porterhouse with gravy. Apparently they ran out of garlic butter a few days ago. At least the beer was cold. Won't be going back

Was in Friday for lunch and the bartender Matt was great had a lot of people to serve but the service stayed amazing!

This is the first time Ive been to this pub. When I was there the place was packed and the service spot on, as it was friendly and attentive.I ordered a Melbourne Bitter, which is a beer that I dont generally order. But I was pleasantly surprised as the beer was cold and tasty.My partner ordered a Gin and Soda which was also pretty good too. There are so many specials on here each day which was good to see.There was a band setup ready to go, but as this was a pre dinner drink I couldnt stay to hear the band. But Id be happy to go back.
