Very family orientated even on a Monday night.
Roast lamb was excellent. Plenty of vegetables and nice gravy.
Staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
A great night and free parking outside.

This place is awesome. Great food, great ambience, heaters, fans, a playground, family friendly, awesome place. They even put up balloons for my sons birthday. Highly rate them. Calamari was delicious, steaks were great.

Unfortunately we were in a large group and waited an obscene amount of time - approximately 1.5 hrs. Once the food arrived the parmigiana was very overcooked, chips were nearly cold and salad had no dressing. The rest of our table were also left waiting some for over 2 hrs. For a $30 parmigiana it was very disappointing.

I came here twice over the last few days. First time we ordered lunch on Friday about 1pm, 2 of the three meals came out in a reasonable time, a steak sandwich and just a side of vegetables, but the third toke just on a hour, a lasagne. We ended up getting that as a take away, and I must say, the lasagne was great and just what I needed when I came home after one to many beers.
I think communication was what let us down Friday.

We braved the venue again on Sunday to watch the footy, and as we were all at a wedding the day before its needless to say we were all a little fragile. The staff put the sound on for us which was great as we were the only ones there, and then we started the joy of ordering food. I havnt been to a venue that had sold out of so many things, our fragile little minds couldnt handle the task of quickly deciding what to order next, and we ended up with a pizza special and a ceaser salad. The ceaser wasnt the greatest, and the pizza was covered in a aioli suace I believe, they went a bit to hard on the swirl I think.

In saying that, the lady who served us at the bistro was an absolute delight, and the young boy in the bar seemed sweet, I really wanted a margarita but I thought if I ordered that he may have had some issues as he seemed very unsure. Im looking forward to visiting again in future and seeing if a margarita could be made with confidence 🍹

Large beer garden plenty of room for just you or a family so relaxing beautiful happy staff awesome food nice cold drinks 🍸 😋 this pub is in the center of the amazing Town of Childers there\'s a Poast Office across the road and a variety of shops 😀
