I had a very enjoyable meal at the Pacific Hotel recently. The chefs did a great job with the food specials, offering a variety of tasty dishes. The highlight for me was the Barramundi curry. The fish was well-cooked and the curry had a nice, flavorful kick to it.

The atmosphere was pleasant and the service was friendly. Overall, it was a great dining experience and I would recommend it to others looking for a good meal in a relaxed setting. I'll be back to try more of their specials.

I had an amazing time at the pac! The food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the Beef Ribs, and it was cooked to perfection - tasty and satisfying, they just fell off the bone. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff are friendly and attentive. Whether you're looking for a great meal or just a place to relax with friends, this pub is a top choice. We had a great dinner here, the chef, John, produced food was fresh and delicious. I had the seniors roast of the day, a huge plate of fresh vegetables and roast chicken arrived, very good value and just what I was craving. My husband chose the Caesar salad with chicken and anchovies, he declared it superb. Our waitress Jacinta was friendly and efficient, we will definitely return when we are next in town.

I was fortunate enough to be able to dine and have a few wines at the Pacific while driving up to Cairns. I was greeted by the manager I think, her name was Amanda. She made time to have a conversation and get to know my husband and I. The food was great but nothing beat the service. 10/10! sends my compliments to the kitchen and especially the bar staff!!

Decided to come here for lunch after graduation and ordered the Crumbed Steak and it was incredible! Very tender and fresh. We received the order fairly quick and the staff were very welcoming and respectful.

Really great spot with amazing food. We ordered steak, and that was cooked beautifully. The staff was very friendly and dessert was a winner aswell.

Tastefully renovated spacious hotel with a large bar area & indoor/outdoor dining area. Also very child friendly. The meals were big & enjoyed by everyone. There weren't alot of options for ceoliacs but the gluten free calamari was delicious! I recommend booking ahead on a weekend, was very busy! ??'?

Ordered 3 meals, 2 went away in doggy bags for our hounds, the chicken Parma was ok. The amount of salt on chips made your mouth burn. Went to see the staff but all too busy. Would not recommend at all.

Hard to rate to be honest ! Pub itself and service was 5 stars .. the service from the staff was excellent! It was refreshing to be served by friendly Staff in a pub environment.. the guy behind the bar poured a sparkling wine and was uncertain if it was up to standard so he asked my wife to try it! Nope it was flat .. old mate was spot on and replaced it with a brand new fresh bottle .. absolutely spot on to even ask!
Ordered dinner off the QRcode and it was fast ! Including the drinks .. we both got the chicken parmigiana and it was pretty average tbh !

Had dinner here for the 2nd time in a week, great service, friendly staff and great food also great atmosphere.

Lovely pub meal and nice night out. Disappointed that air-con over our table was not turned on until a member of our party felt faint. Food good. Service great... admin...c'mon.- we are in tropics and temps are over the top. Thanks staff for a good night!!

Very relaxed place. Indoor and outdoor tables are available, and there is a play area for the kids. The food is good and the serving size about right. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of menus on the tables. We ordered using our phones.
The bar was well stocked (Guiness on tap- excellent !). The service was prompt and courteous.
Overall, a great place for a meal and a drink.

Second dinning experience in three days. Food was amazing best pork ribs I've had in ages. Service was spot on??'?. Bar tender even remembered the previous drink order. Would go back in a heart beat and well priced too😉

Mixed feelings about this experience. The staff were absolutely lovely and the food good as well as the atmosphere. However ordering food only via an app is not inclusive practice. There were no hard copies and the only one available was stuck to a pillar in a thoroughfare. At one point there was a queue up to read it while people were trying to pass. Why make it so much more difficult for some of your clientele to give you money? I really hope you review this practice and make it more accessible.

Ordered beer battered barra,chips and salad,salad was fine chips were ok,but the fish looked over cooked and dryed out,gave impression it had been cooked and then reheated,admittedly we arrived towards the end of lunch service but still it certainly wasn't cooked on ordering.

We are locals and eat here, usually, once a week. The pub has a great atmosphere, the staff are fabulous - there is even one gorgeous young man who addresses me (and others I'm sure) as "Miss". He is just so respectful. I always have a 250g eye fillet (leftovers to the puppies) and the quality of the meat, the cooking - everything is just sensational. Hubby usually has the rump - which is also fabulous. Cannot recommend everything about The Pacific, Yeppoon, highly enough🙏

After speaking with a staff member and then the manager they were able to relocate us to an outside table. Thank you very much for your consideration and help in what was a very busy night. We really appreciated your help. Our meal was great and with three small children the venue was very good. Highly recommend.

Real good pub style food! We stayed only one night in Yeppoon and by recommendation we went here for dinner. In general food looks nice but the steaks were awesome, cooked to our requested term and with nice sides to choose from! Worth to visit when looking for lunch/dinner in Yeppoon! (No photos sorry! We were too hungry😋)

Lunch was great today. I had a beautiful rib fillet cooked perfectly with the tastiest Asian greens and mash. My friend had a chicken parmy, she said it was delicious. The espresso Martinis were great also and the service always good. Looking forward to the next pac visit. Great stuff.

Good friendly prompt service. I enjoyed my meal of tender roast pork with a variety of FRESH vegetables (much appreciated considering the market)
However...considering we are encouraged to put our phones away whilst dining with friends, none of our group were impressed with the new "Digital Menu " Not everyone has a phone or are happy to leave email or bankcard details on line. It took our group (senior sits. )10-15 mns to try and navigate the system only to find the order hadn't gone through, or had timed out Admittedly, there was still an option to order and pay at the counter so,........Please, still offer a printed version of the menu to save a lot of confusion and discomfort for some of your guests.

They are amazing! We had our wedding reception out the back in the beer garden and they did up the tables really well and the food was even better! It was better then we could have ever thought 🙂🎉

I would like to say our meals being blaa, we were quite disappointed , that we did not finish lunch. So hard to find a decent meal in Yeppoon these day's.

Been there on numerous occasions had some good meals an some not so good ,staff are always friendly has a kiddy area to play on in the beer garden on which if your going for a quiet meal can be annoying .last time we went ordered two steaks medium rare came out well done like rubber conclusion depends on the mood of the chef or should i say cook on the day

Great place to grab a meal. Outdoor dining available with a playground for the kids. Meals are reasonably priced with a great menu including kids meals. Covid Q code check in available.

It was terrible, $12 for spring rolls that were cold in the middle. Chicken burger was frozen chicken strips and heap of coleslaw that made the roll soggy. The ribs were horrible but the steak sandwich was good, will most likely never go back

Great Guinness, food, table service, friendly atmosphere and TV sport coverage. Scan the check-in QR code at the front door at James Street; I couldn't find one anywhere else. Distinguish from the check-out QR code!

An awesome pub with fantastic meals. The staff are always happy and friendly and have fantastic customer service. Also yummy espresso martini cocktails!!

My experience at the Pacific Hotel was wonderful. Our experience with the COVID marshal was quick and easy with a simple QR code to scan. I sat in the outdoor dining location, and the scenery and seating were aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. The meals were good, and we will most likely be returning here.

Had a lovely Halloween event for the children and lots of excitement. The food was great and the waffle and ice cream was the perfect sweet to end the evening. Remember to book as it can get very busy. Staff are very friendly too
