Great meal, quick service and fantastic view.

Went there today as a family outing and the food was so good! Everything was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The service was quick and very amicable. The whole experience a "do it again!" Also serving GF and DF - which made it awesome....

Ordered one of the specials tonight at a cost of $32. Lamb loin chops, mint sauce and veg. Lamb chops were cooked pink - just the way I like them but they were so full of fat and so tough. Could not believe the quality of the meat. Veg and mint sauce was good. That price for a special - I think not good.

Staff were very friendly, great selection of food even for my daughter who is gf and lactose free. Food is great sizing.

We booked in with Marlene who was excellent. We arrived which was for state of origin and tried to order a red. They only had one (merlot) available out of about six red's on the list, reason due to stocktaking. Thanks only to Shelle she went out of her way to get us a decent wine.
When we watched the only screen televising the game the commentating was about 2 mins difference than the game and manager couldn't be bothered to even try to fix or put on inside screens. Would never return very poor service.

Very Disappointed!! We came for lunch - understandably it was busy being school holidays however on arrival told meal waiting time would be 1hr. So hubby went to get drinks - half an hour wait time just to order a drink. Then upon ordering meals told 1hour & 45min wait time now.
We left. Clearly under- staffed & for the meal prices you would expect (hope for) quicker service.

In all honesty, I don't really know what happened to this place. The food quality has seemingly tanked since my last visit. As a group we ordered a handful of things and our order was mostly correct, but was missing some vital things.

We had ordered a prime rump requested at well done with mushroom sauce and a calamari topper. It came out almost charcoal and just about burnt. It was very dry and was missing both the sauce and the calamari that we paid for.

We also ordered 3 salmons at varying temperatures with the same sides (except one) and all but one came out cold in the center. The salmon dish that had the different side came out with the same sides as the other two.

Alongside this, we ordered two chicken dishes, a grilled chicken and a chicken schnitzel. The schnitzel ended up being quite tasty but the breadcrumbs were overcooked and it was hard to bite through. The grilled chicken honestly didn't even seem like grilled chicken, it felt more like a glorified roast chicken with grill marks. It was dry, the skin was rubbery, and not very nice. The mashed potatoes I ordered alongside this did not taste very nice and it did not help that the salt shakers at the table I was at did not really dispense much salt. One of the salt shakers was also filled with rice, I don't really know why this is done but it just felt kind of superfluous.

The only real redeeming factor of my night in terms of the food was the bacon and cheese garlic bread, which continues to be the best item on the menu. The bowl of vegetables also continue to be one of the best sides.

Other then the food, the waiting time was just okay. I believe it took 40 or more minutes to get 6 dishes to the table and about 30 just for garlic bread. The long wait was not helped by the very loud trivia night performance.

I have nothing against trivia nights and find them quite fun to listen along and try to guess with the people I am eating with, but this one was not great. The presenter was there because the usual presenter wasn't present due to illness which is okay but it didn't help the performance at all. The speaker at the front was configured to be way too loud and the way the presenter talked into the microphone made it a lot louder then it needed to be. The music section of the trivia was excruciating because not only was the music way too loud, but also the presenter also played chiptune (8-bit music as he called it). It's weird to hear this sort of thing from me since I actually quite enjoy chiptune and listen to it regularly but there's a thing about the square wave that the presenter needs to know: It hurts really bad when you play it loudly. It also didn't help at all that in quiet sections of the music, the presenter turned up the speaker which only made it worse.

Once again - I have nothing against trivia nights, but the execution of the one that was happening while I ate was below par and made it hard to talk to the people at my table.

Other then that, some other good parts to this place are the ocean view you get from any table in the restaurant and friendly staff.

If you're not looking for an entire meal, I would recommend this place - especially if you are coming here at lunch. Otherwise, look elsewhere.

We went there today for lunch. The meals were that bad we couldn't eat them and asked for a refund. The staff were lovely about it and apologised for the "really bad chef " we got our refund and left. Will never be back and certainly wouldn't recommend the food there to anyone!!!
This is the first time I have ever asked for a refund anywhere ever !!! That's how disgusting it was.

Waiting time can be quite long during lunch hours and reservations preferred. Pasta was dry and not fantastic. The pizza and chicken were alright. May skip the sweet potato fries.

Great food, we went on Friday evening and didn't wait long for food or drinks. The live music was fantastic.
They had a couple of gluten free options and I got the chicken breast with mash which was lovely.
My fiancé for the Parma and it was huge!

Great place for a social drink but they need a new chef. For the price, you would expect better than a short order cook. Very average food.

Had a wonderful dinner with the family on Saturday night. It was pretty busy but we got our food on time. There were some impatient customers but, the staff handled it quickly and professionally. The young man Elijah was wonderful, serving good, fast drinks. Ahead of me was a group of women who were looking for a particular wine which they did not have, but eli brought out a range of bottles which were similar, while explaining each wine (and he sold 3 of them). I was very impressed with his knowledge. All the staff were very polite, and the food was amazing. While it is on the more expensive side, I would 100% recommend this place.

Convenient location in Central Yeppoon with a beautiful view. Great food (I had the salmon & asparagus crepe). Prices are reasonable, and there is a fully stocked bar. I'm not sure if there is wheelchair access- I just walked up the steps. Service was very good. Overall, a very pleasant place for lunch.

Nice food and cold beer. This place has a great atmosphere overlooking Keppel bay directly on the beach.

The food is great and atmosphere lovely.
But the lady named Sam serving behind the drinks bar is rude and doesn't like serving people.
She needs to look at her attitude and change or don't work in the service industry

Very busy night for all concerned. Pinefest was in so understandable. Nice meals and cold drinks. The service was not up to scratch but when staff don't turn up for with it is unavoidable. Well with s visit either here or spinnaker. They are good as each other. Cheers big ears and enjoy

Bar- sorry but you were slow and did not Prioritise correctly, gambling before alcohol, and to top it off staffed blamed the management for re-arranging. *training is suggested

Ordered rare- got well done, vegies blanched till no flavour left and a Diane sauce with no garlic- OK then

Also got

Lime and pepper squid with chips and salad
Got given cuttle fish covered in pepper and mcains beer battered chips salad was practly a coleslaw.

Oysters kilpatric- way to much Worcestershire sauce and like no Bacon
And some chicken strip's with no flavour *not even chicken. And a sauce (not stated on menu)

Ended up leaving food on the table and walked away.

The only enjoyable thing I had there was the Jack Daniels and the Johnnie walker red.

And heaven forbid, if your a smoker, like don't get me wrong we smell, but making us stand out the front of the venue..........great look there for your business....

Sunday arvo drinks, it is the only place in town that has live music on the Sunday afternoon. Service was pretty good, music was very good, the young lady vocalist did very well. We hung around all afternoon until they finished.
Well worth a visit.

Superb! Absolute ocean front looking out over Great Keppel Island. Friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere, great food menu with lots of specials and cheap bar prices. A must do when you visit Yeppoon.

Will definitely go back to try the rest of the menu, I had the wicked beef burger and it was delicious, and my boy had the kids cheeseburger, and keeps asking to had back there to get another one, can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu

Went for dinner on a Wednesday night with my wife. Waited over an hour for 2 pasta meals. At 8.45pm, we still hadn't received our meals and the entire place was empty. There was a large group complaining at the register about their long wait. By this stage, we are ravenous so I went up to ask how much longer our meals would be. Shortly after we had 2 bowls of fettuccine plonked down in front of us with a spoon shoved in the side of the bowls! We were gobsmacked! I then had to find someone to ask for forks!! I asked when we left what had caused the big delay. The staff member replied, "It was really busy and we weren't prepared. Its one of the biggest Wednesday nights I've seen in ages!" So KBSC, the view during the day is spectacular, but if you're going to compete with the new higher quality restaurants in town, you need to up your game! It seriously wasn't that busy!! Also the haloumi sticks were awful - strips of mostly crumbed batter. Perhaps the chef is used to cooking one meal at a time and needs to upskill with a time-management workshop perhaps. Wish you all the best for the busy Christmas season. Hope you're ready! We won't be back!

Great venue where we celebrated my husbands 70th birthday. However as far as outcome regarding prior arrangements with Kelly to serve platters to 17 people I was disappointed.The platters were not as specified and considering the price they were way overpriced.Generally the place was very understaffed considering how busy the place was.

The best food and service I have experienced in this shire.. highly recommend.. dosent get much better...

Terry (Ducky) was the highlight of our night. Such an amazing person, we love her after just 10 minutes of talking.

Ribs special was bloody good! Best ribs I've had in a while.

Average RSL-experience

S23°7′59″ E150°44′59″ This Sailing Club is a copy of a RSL-club, with bar & restaurant. The menu is not exciting in its options. Just the usual, including a dog bag for home. The interior looks like an airport waiting room. The lighting is terrible. Too bad, you cannot see the ocean after sunset.

In September 2018, we ordered the fish of the day, grilled tuna, with celery and rice in a sweet chili sauce (AU$28). With our expectations not set too high and the presentation of the food under par (why black tableware?), the tuna was well prepared, nicely red inside and tasted good. A little pity, the sweet chili sauce was prominent in the overall taste. But again, a pleasant culinary surprise. Compliments to the chef.

We were looking for food that went beyond fish & chips or mash potatoes, but instead the server recommended a simple burger. Other culinary direction, please!

This club offers cheap meals without any expectations. The tuna dish was fine, but the whole experience was soon forgotten. Not recommended.
