Safety and customer service could be significantly improved.
I reported an incident involving a car being struck by a golf ball along Blunder Road. The purpose of the report was to raise awareness, assist with record keeping, and encourage preventative action - particularly given the proximity of the course to a high-traffic pedestrian and roadway area.
The response I received was that, unless there was "damage", there was nothing further to do. That was genuinely disappointing to hear. I wasn't looking to make a claim or create an issue - I simply thought it was worth flagging before someone is seriously injured or a major accident occurs. A near miss should still be treated as an opportunity to improve safety and awareness, especially in an area used by both pedestrians and passing traffic. Unfortunately, the response came across as dismissive, and it gives the impression that action will only be taken after someone gets badly hurt.
