First time coming back to this tavern since the Reno's and was a little disappointed... the food was great, apart from cold chips .. however steaks were on point and salads delicious!
The same can't be said for the staff... absolutely appalling service... or lack there of ... very slow and in competent... overall nice venue and Reno's look good but the food is very expensive and the menu is quite small.. not to many options ... won't be back in a hurrry....

I order a Moroccan Spiced Lamb ribs in the shares selection. I wanted a serve of chips with it and did not want a whole side of chips at $10. Was going to change to the steak sandwich for $25 as it came with chips. The cashier then said the register allowed chips and I asked for the receipt as proof. These ribs turned up, well couldn't find the red meat for the 85% fat. They looked gross and I returned them in discussed. The lady was very nice about this as I think she agreed that they were not really appealing. I was able to order the steak sandwich which was placed heavily on the table and walked away. (We all got the hint of discussed) this meal was okay other than the bread roll, tuff as a pigs ear. Disappointed.

This is my family fav local pub. After the renovations it so much better. My children love the kids meals here as it comes with a huge ice cream and now with 2 toppers. The play area is small but enough for kids to hangout. Wish they could make it bigger. We came here last week and Kris was serving us with beautiful smiles and very attentive. We will be back next week. 😀

Sunday dinner at the Ox before Christmas and we were expecting it to be hectic and service slow. The service was really good, everyone was friendly and we didn't feel rushed. It was a lovely evening and the food was very tasty.
