No a bad pub. Good sports bar and $7 schooners. Outside could do with a touch up but still enjoyable

Had a great meal last night. Pork ribs were so soft was like they had been cooking for a week.

Had a meal here a few weeks ago. The meal was lovely and priced reasonably. The staff were very nice and friendly.

Food is top rated in my opinion. Had T bone with mash and veg. Corn on cob was ??'?. All veg felt steamed not boiled and were crisp the way veg should be. Outside undercover dining was a pleasant experience. Had a game of pool (3 tables to choose from).

Nice tasty meal and good size.
We had 3 steak meals, chips and veg.
Staff very friendly and helpful.

First room allocated, the window fell out when I tried to lock it. I requested a new room. Bin still had rubbish in it,
shower had rubbish in plug hole, toilet seat had what looked like spots of dried vomit on the seat. Rubbish bin in bathroom totally rusty. Food was not that good either. Overall feel from staff is that no one cares. Wouldn't go back.

Really have to go out of your way just to get there. The food is really good and worth the trip however going at night for drinks isn't worth it. Drinks are expensive, not a cosmetically appealing location and the music is awful.

Very poorly serviced room. I don't think it had been used in years. The fridge was not plugged in and had defrosted completely. The TV was not working - oh shock horror- the 2 plugs were unplugged but were located behind the fridge!! So I pulled the fridge out and plugged them both in. Water everywhere. Lights not working.
There were very few powerpoints available for phone chargers etc.
The bathroom power points were our of order and very unsafe.
This unit was in very poor condition and needs to be upgraded before hiring out again.

Beds and pillows felt poor for any support. Noise was a factor and it seemed like bugs get in from under the door or from somewhere.

Great pub with fantastic meals. Right across the road from Mt.Isa caravan park which was very handy.

Went for lunch to try the new menu. Big group. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time but dishes were hit and miss for our crew. Chips were yellow so oil needed changing and chicken thighs were undercooked in spots. Not in a hurry to go back.

It's not the best, but it's ok for the price.
The Bistro meals are good.

Can't comment on rooms as I didn't stay here but the pub and food aspect was well below average
Staff were very rude and dismissive, both on the phone when booking and in person. Bar staff didn't know the difference between a pot and a pint and even after explained to her she continued to try and pour a pot, seriously come on!
Food was edible but nothing exciting and certainly won't return to spend any more money here
Only decent part was the Friday night meat raffle we won
Wouldn't waste my time when only a minute down the road the Buffs club is consistent, staff are lovely and the food is delicious
Keep driving past and do yourselves a favor by going to the Buffs honestly

Cant comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here. Location is good as we could walk here from the Argylla caravan park.
Service is poor. Very slow.
Food is average, just don't order from the specials unless you want to have a second meal later.

How sad! The Overlander used to be one of the places to stay in the Isa. Now it's a dilapidated wreck. Nothing works in the rooms & they're not clean. The food at the pub is great.

I had broken down in the main street and had phoned reception to pass a message on to my wife to inform her where I was so she wouldn't panic. They did not do this and my wife panicked in my absence. I would definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Rooms are in desperate need of a revamp. Shower door won't open fully, hot and cold water symbols were on the wrong taps, tiles had grout smeared from a trowel- covering about a quarter of the floor yet there were still floor tiles missing. No spoon for hot drinks and rear patio hadn't been cleaned - empty plastic drink bottle and garden debris. Rear door and window need replacing. Unsure if there is a maintenance man but 1 is definitely needed!
If you're just interested in a comfy bed and carport however, this is it!

The service was very good customer service friendly and quick and the food and beverages we're delicious and thirst quenching thankyou overlander hotel mount Isa!!!!!!!

Good service , meals fresh and hot. Good value.

Excellent food, friendly staff. Clean toilets. $13,50 for a tuba steak with rice and salad - bargain. And an easy stroll to the caravan park.

Met our first local. Our introduction to Mt Isa was spectacular. Troy from The Overllander was friendly , helpful with a great knowledge of the town. An all round genuine good guy and fabulous character. Five stars Troy

Two star accommodation. Air con didn't work. 80s bathroom and lumpy bed and barking resident dog. Can't comment on the pub or bistro - we didn't use.

Regularly played music and sang at the Ovi for years as a duo with my partner and he even longer than me in various formats. Always great staff and patrons like to have fun !! The accommodation is also clean and neat and perfect to kick back escape the heat to a red stone wall backdrop flanked with resident rock wallabies .. sunset views from your bed are outstanding. 5 stars for the food, water features, cold drinks and air con!! Music kicks serious butt too with an awesome selection of professional musicians flown in from Brisbanes number 1 entertainment agency, The Pushworth Group.

Decor is a bit dated but great pub grub.

This place is a joke only cash at the bars but none of their atms were working.When they finally got them working went to order drinks for my partner and I and you cant order more than one drink at a time what a load I walk out without buying a drink and still got charged for using their atms not happy

They choose who they allow in....disappointing ....wouldnt even rate them
