We celebrated our Mothers Day lunch here. Have to say we were disappointed to arrive and not see a table reserved even though I had booked one weeks earlier. This was quickly rectified by giving us a table right next to a door that people go through every 30 seconds. The floors were dirty and tables hadn\'t been cleaned. For a big event, a few flowers on the table or a free glass of bubbly wouldn\'t have hurt. Especially considering how packed it was with people spending money. But....food, as always, was absolutely delicious. All of our meals were fantastic. Just a little more time spent on the atmosphere and having a clean table etc would make North Shore stand out more.

the beef burger was really nice and filling, staff were nice, i'm pretty sure zoey served us. the only issue was the smoking area high top seats, the cushions were a bit mouldy so it seems like they get left out in the rain. otherwise everything was good :)

Word of advice - book in advance, and these deals are available on Friday nights so make you definitely book in advance.

The food was beyond awful - honestly some of the worst I've ever been served anywhere. The chips had absolutely no flavor whatsoever, like they hadn't even been seasoned or cooked properly. The chicken was terrible, dry, and almost inedible, and the burger was the worst of all. It had a foul, off-putting smell and an even worse taste, to the point where I genuinely questioned if it was even safe to eat.

To make the experience even more disappointing, the bartender was shockingly rude, acting irritated and dismissive the entire time. The whole visit felt like a complete waste of money and time. I left feeling disgusted, frustrated, and honestly surprised that a place could serve food and service this bad.

Overall, it was an extremely unpleasant experience from start to finish, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Had the lamb cutlets and loaded fries - both were amazing! The lamb was super tender and full of flavour, and the fries were crispy, cheesy, and loaded just right. Big portions, friendly staff, and such a chill local vibe. Loved it!
