Went for dinner last night with Family was very disappointed.
Worst meal I've had from there, chicken parmi was to thick, chicken wasn't tenderised, crumb was soggy and tasted like fish, sauce was bland and not enough. Dianne sauce was not Dianne sauce it was pepper sauce after sending it back it came back our the same sauce I sent back.
Staff were very rude and kept walking past the table to take plates away straight away just so they could try close the kitchen and go home early.

Well sorry for holding you back it is your job after all, we won't be back.

Went there to play on pokies and watch my AFL team win there first game for the year. Good to that they have free coffee and that for when you are thirsty and cold water on hot days

Amazing as always.. have been going here on and off for 30+years now. And i still love the pepper sauce.

Consistent quality meals, with exception of the steak.
My wife and I have eaten here many times, staff are fantastic, food is almost always high quality.
I ordered med/rare steak once, it was dry, way way overcooked and a complete waste of money. I've steered clear of the steak ever since and can't complain about any other meal we have had here.

Our meals were nice, happy bistro was open while travelling home.

On Tuesday boxing Day it is my birthday had a table of about 16 to 18 my meal was fine as was my daughter in law's but 8 or 9 had chicken parmi's only one was cooked the others were very pink she took them back to the kitchen and that was the last we saw of anyone not a way to run a business was so disappointed did not even say sorry not a way to treat your guests will never come here again even a sorry would have been ok 8 people could not eat there lunch very disappointed 😞☹️😞☹️😞☹️😞☹️😞☹️😞☹️

Held an event here at short notice and the staff were great.

Staff very friendly ...Food average and prices reasonable .has access for and to all areas for wheelchairs etc.

I came with a disability support client and the staff were exceedingly accommodating and friendly towards us both. My client had the roast of the day and the serving was generous and of a good standard.

I specifically asked cook for something tender to eat as i have issue's with my teeth so he provided a Meal that was like eating shoe leather I was so disappointed I couldn't even bother complaining, just left the meal ..so yea no stars..

Not many people in the bistro bar was a little bit worrying. Ordered the seafood basket an we were fabulously surprised. It was cooked perfectly an the portion was generous. With two schooners. What a way to end the night.

Quiet atmosphere at lunch today. The staff are pleasant and attentive. The Flathead tails with chips n salad was very tasty. The beer batter was thin and crispy and Flathead tails were juicey and flavoursome. Lovely meal. Highly recommend.

We went for lunch the fishermen's basket was really nice but the wait for a meals was a little to long

Absolute nightmare of a place to buy a drink via Eftpos, Gaming bar and bistro bar does not have eftpos available. You need to order a drink at the bar in the bistro then go to the bistro counter to pay, you would think they could afford to be running more than one eftpos machine. Drinks are extremely overpriced, around $8.20 for a schooner of Great Northern. Go down the road to the gateway hotel, better feed, cheaper drinks and less dodgy characters around.

The Norlane hotel I think is a little under rated. I've eaten here quite a few times and the meals are always very good. They have a cheap all day menu (before 5:30pm) which has some great selections. Always a hot bread roll with butter with every meal. Beer is always cold and tastes good.

Terrific meal (steak & seafood sauce). Tender tasty steak bloody beautiful sauce.

Food is barely decent and during covid they enforce you to wear a mask even though you are about to eat. Staff are rude would not advise unless you don't mind being served by ignorant staff

The location is plain but wholesome. The food was good and helping size was generous. The staff were really pleasant. Perfect for meeting up with family.

We love going here for easy hassle free tasty meals. Kids room is great keeps the rascal entertained. Beer on tap is cold and steak is perfect what more could you ask for.
